We offer an internship in the Global Medical Affairs organization of CERENOVUS, a Johnson and Johnson MedTech company, focusing on product innovation and product insights. This internship will offer you a great opportunity to gain experience in the healthcare sector with the opportunity to make your own publication . The duration of this internship will be 6 to 9 months.

• €750 internship allowance (based on 40 hours)

We are currently looking for a intern who meets the following criteria:

• You can work independently and have a positive attitude with excellent English communication skills as well as above average computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Excellent research skills (literature review) and highly analytical with attention to detail and understanding of statistical concepts and medical study background is beneficial
• Networker and flexible and adaptable team player who seeks opportunities to learn and grow professionally, with confidence and is able to prioritise and manage own workload autonomously
• Bachelor and Master students with a background in legal, commerce, business, or marketing, as well as those in biomedical engineering, biology, medical biologics, chemistry, biomedical science, pharmaceutical sciences or another related discipline.

You will be part of the global Medical Affairs organization of CERENOVUS. You will support disease state research and product innovation across the breadth of products and therapeutic areas in neurovascular disease. The internship does not involve any laboratory work.

• Liaising and communicating with many different departments
• Managing projects relating to Medical Affairs in line with business needs
• Working with colleagues in the US and across EMEA to create streamlined processes
• Identifying and reviewing scientific literature to aid the products

You have knowledge of data analytical tools such as Excel, you speak Dutch or English and can start in February.

• Year 3 or 4 of HBO/ BSc in Data Science, ICT, Business analytics, Business Administration or Systems Engineering

The objective of this internship project is to design and implement a comprehensive Excel-based lab
management tool to improve planning, traceability, and resource utilization in the Mechanical–Optical
Laboratory at the IOL manufacturing site. The tool will: Centralize lab data on disposables, equipment inventory, calibration schedules, and operator qualifications. Enable smart test scheduling where bookings are driven by test methods and automatically check:

• Operator qualifications for each method
•  Equipment availability and calibration status
•  Estimated test duration to support realistic time planning
•  Prevent operator overbooking by using the estimated time per test to balance daily workload and ensure capacity is not exceeded
•  Provide day-to-day and weekly planning dashboards, summarizing scheduled tests, resource utilization, and workload distribution
