You are an experienced warehouse worker who is eager to get started at Decathlon! Don't have any warehouse experience yet? No problem! You will get training and learn on the job. No experience in warehouse work yet? No problem! We are searching for the right motivation.

  • You are available for 5 days in 2 shifts from Monday - Sunday (7.00 - 15.00 / 15.00 - 23.00)

what will you do

You will work as an order picker or packer in this automated warehouse. As an order picker you will work at your 'order picking station'. About 200 order picking robots are going around in this warehouse. The robot picks a box for you from the racks, brings it to your order pick station, then you pick the number of products from the box that you need! The robot goes back to the picking location and the next robot is already waiting for you with a new box! Order complete? Then you press a button and the conveyor belt brings the box to the packers. As a packer you check the order, add the packing slip and put the right address sticker on the box. Ready for shipment!

After a productive morning, you take a break for lunch, either in the canteen or outdoors. The afternoon shifts to loading and unloading trucks. You will organize and place pallets into the correct outgoing trucks. Once that is complete, you will unload the incoming trucks, inspecting pallets and boxes for any damage before correctly storing them in the warehouse.

Every day starts with a start meeting. In this meeting you will hear what kind of tasks you will be doing as a Warehouse employee. This can be packing the orders. While packing the orders you make sure that the products on the list are placed in the correct box so that the customer gets the right order. After making sure that every product is inside the box, you will close the box properly and place the right labels on it so that the order goes to the right customer in the right country. After a morning full of packing orders, you enjoy your lunch in the canteen or outside in the sun before you start on loading the trucks. While doing this, you make sure that the pallets are placed in the correct truck. After loading all the pallets, you make sure that the last trucks that are coming in are unloaded. You check the pallets and boxes on any damages and make sure they will be placed in the warehouse correctly.

As an order picker, you take care of customer orders down to the last detail. In the week of December 19 to 24, you are the crucial link in ensuring that all Christmas meals arrive to the customer on time and perfectly. You are a precise and stress-resistant worker. The meals are already packed in the order picking department. You get to work on the orders and are therefore on the move a lot. You like not to stand in the same place all the time and you like to accelerate quickly. 25,000 steps in a day is no problem for you! In the order picking department it is between 10 and 13 degrees. Working in a cold environment is fine for you. Of course you get warm clothes from Uitgekookt.

  • You speak Dutch or English fluently;
  • You are able to perform physical work;
  • Experience is not required, but it is a bonus;

what will you do

During this Christmas period you will be deployed in various places where your help is needed most. This is a fun and varied combination function.

As an Order Picker, you make our customers happy by taking care of their orders down to the last detail. As soon as the light comes on, you go and grab the right meal and ensure that all products end up in the shipping boxes. You like an overview, work accurately and ensure that Christmas orders are perfect.

You will also help as a Production Employee. You assist with the presentation of the meals and ensure that the meals look fantastic. You know exactly which ingredient goes in which container. You work in both warm and cold (12-15 degrees) rooms.

In short, a varied and perfect job to help the Netherlands enjoy the Christmas holidays!
