Who you are
To make sure that everything in the warehouse runs smoothly, you meet the following requirements:

• You are at least 18 years old, due to working hours;
• You speak Dutch or English, for safety reasons;
• You are available for at least 2 days a week;
• You are physically capable of lifting crates up to 20 kg;
• You have your own means of transportation to get to Kuehne + Nagel in Zwolle.

What will you do
As a logistics employee, you are involved in many different tasks. And that is exactly what makes your job so much fun! 😎 All kinds of products come back from the supermarket to be recycled. Think about plastic bottles, paper, but also all the carts and crates. Your goal is to sort everything right out! ♻️ Each part has its own place. When everything is cleaned and transported, it will be picked up again by customers at Albert Heijn! Cool, right?!

At Kuehne + Nagel, working days are from Monday to Sunday. This means a lot of shifts! Your availability is the limit! Most shifts have the following times: 06:00 - 15:00, 14:45 - 23:45, and 21:15 - 06:15. ⏰ Together we will find your perfect schedule!

• You have experience in logistics or a strong desire to learn;
• You hold a forklift or reach truck license, or want to earn one through us;
• You have a good command of the English or Dutch language;
• You are available full-time (38 hours per week) in 3-shifts;

what will you do
As a warehouse worker, you enjoy a dynamic and physically active work environment. No two days are the same! You seamlessly switch between operating the machinery and handling tasks on the warehouse floor using modern hand scanners. Together with your team, you keep the entire logistics process running smoothly.

• Drive the forklift and reach truck to safely store pallets at height and replenish picking locations;
• Collect the correct items using a hand scanner and prepare orders for shipment;
• Assist with loading and unloading incoming and outgoing freight trucks;
• Inspect incoming and outgoing items for correct quantities and potential damage;
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe working environment.

You will work for a major international supplier of home decor and flooring products in the Zwolle area. The warehouse is spacious, organized, and equipped with modern machinery. From this location, you and your team supply over 7,000 stores and home improvement centers across Europe.
