As a parttime Logistics Employee at DHL in HOUTEN, you’ll be at the center of warehouse operations. You are responsible for unloading and loading pallets into trailers and containers using EPTs (Electric Pallet Trucks), moving goods efficiently and safely. Your tasks also include scanning shipments, sorting packages, and ensuring everything is ready for the next step in the logistics process. You’ll work with a supportive team in a fast-paced setting where every shift brings new challenges and learning opportunities. The job is in a modern warehouse with up-to-date equipment to help you do your work well.

Your main responsibilities:

• Unload and load pallets into trailers or containers using EPTs
• Scan and sort packages for dispatch
• Keep the work area tidy and organized
• Assist with other warehouse tasks when needed
• Follow safety guidelines at all times

Shifts are available Wednesday to Friday, with options to work from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM or 12:30 AM - 6:00 AM. Flexibility is important, as working days and hours can vary depending on the week.

• VMBO working and thinking level
• Basic speaking skills in Dutch or English
• Willingness to work evening or night shifts (4:00 PM - 9:00 PM or 12:30 AM - 6:00 AM)
• Flexible attitude and able to work variable hours
• Experience as a Warehouse Worker, Order Picker, or Logistics Assistant is a plus

Who you are
As a warehouse worker, you will be busy sorting packages. It’s important that you can handle physical work. You will also recognize yourself in the following:

• You speak the Dutch or English language;
• You’re available at least 3 days a week.
• You have your own transport to come to PostNL Utrecht
• You are able to lift parcels up to 20 kilograms
• You are directly available

What will you do
After clocking in, lacing up your safety shoes, and joining the team huddle for your daily station assignment, you’ll take charge of the conveyor belt. In this active, physical role, you will swiftly and accurately place packages of all shapes and sizes onto the belt at a steady, sharp pace to ensure everything gets sorted on time. If you are motivated, physically fit, and available to work Sunday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. You are exactly who we are looking for!
