As a logistics employee nightshifts, you help with loading and unloading trucks. This means moving roll containers that can weigh up to 150 kilos. No problem for you! Additionally, you are available for at least three evenings/nights and:
What will you do
PostNL Tiel is one of PostNL's crossdock locations. Here, roll containers full of packages are transferred to be sent to the correct destination with a different driver. How does this work? Trucks arrive with, for example, three roll containers for the Tilburg region and three for the Breda region. Each region is collected separately so that a full truck can drive to Tilburg and another to Breda. This saves unnecessary trips across the country for just a few roll containers. As a logistics employee nightshifts, you unload the trucks and place the roll containers in the right sections. Is there an empty truck that needs to be filled? You make sure the correct roll containers are loaded. Then you neatly put the roll containers back into the truck.
Where will you work
The PostNL Tiel warehouse is located at Hoekwei 6 in Tiel. You can easily reach it by car, bike or scooter. With an international team of colleagues, you ensure all packages are sent with the right driver. It can be hard work on the floor, but everyone helps each other out to make the job easier. Team leaders also regularly provide something nice during the break, like a stroopwafel or a soft drink. Want more responsibility as a logistics employee nightshifts? Wat ga je doen
Als vrachtwagenchauffeur bij Tielbeke heb je de perfecte mix van afwisseling en zelfstandigheid. Je begint je dag op het crossdock in Culemborg. Lekker de dag beginnen met een kop koffie samen met je collega's. Jouw wagen vol met pakketten, van kleine doosjes tot hele pallets staat al op je te wachten. Dan is het tijd om de weg op te gaan en jouw klanten blij te maken in de regio Utrecht en Gelderland. Je komt overal, van woonwijken tot bedrijventerreinen, en je hebt bij elke stop weer een praatje met de klant. Nadat je alles hebt geleverd, is het jouw taak om onderweg goederen op te halen. Eenmaal terug op de zaak help je waar nodig nog even mee met laden of lossen. Zo is geen dag hetzelfde!
