What are you going to do:

If you enjoy being on the move and like jobs where every shift feels different, you’ll love working as a Delivery Driver at Jumbo. From our operations base in Bleiswijk, you head out in a box truck to deliver groceries to homes across Rotterdam.You don’t need professional truck experience, as long as you’ve held your B licence for at least six months and feel confident driving, we’ll guide you through everything else.

Your shift in a nutshell

You start at the HUB, pick up your equipment and check your vehicle. Once you’re set, your route guides you through the city as you drop off orders and collect empty crates. After finishing your list, you head back to Bleiswijk, return your gear and wrap up your day.

Shifts

• Morning : 06:00 – 15:00
• Evening : 15:00 – 23:00

Work 2 days per week or 4–5 days if you want full schedules. Two Saturdays per month are required.

Pay

€ 19,14 all-in hourly from age 21+

Please note: Your base of operations will be the HUB in Bleiswijk (postcode 2665 MZ), where each workday starts and ends.

What we ask

• You have a drivers license for at least 2 years
• You speak English fluently;
• You are able to get a VOG.
• You are available for at least 2 saturdays a month.

Who you are
You’re a hard worker who isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves. You love being active while the rest of the Netherlands is asleep. As the ideal logistics employee, you’ll recognize yourself in the following points:

• You are at least 18 years old due to safety and working hours
• You are flexible in your planning
• You speak and understand Dutch or English
• You have your own transport to get to the DPD depot
• You have a Dutch BSN

What will you do
As a logistic employee at DPD, you are part of the team that keeps things running. No gym needed, because you start your shift by loading and unloading trucks. Building muscles and getting paid, a win-win situation right? After that, you quickly switch to the sorting process. You ensure that every package is on the right belt. That way the delivery driver can deliver them the next day! No night is the same, and that makes it so much fun!

• Workdays: Monday to Saturday
• You are available for both shifts on a rotating basis: the afternoon shift from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and the night shift from 12:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Where will you work
You will start working as a logistic employee at DPD in Etten-Leur. It’s one of the largest parcel giants in Europe. The depot is an impressive place buzzing with energy at night! You will work in an international team, where the atmosphere is informal and super cozy. After working hard all night, there is always room for a laugh with your colleagues.
