We are looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician who is eager to share knowledge, take initiative, and lead a team in a dynamic production environment. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the reliability and continuous improvement of machinery, installations, and production lines. You will not only resolve technical issues but also act as a mentor and role model for your colleagues. Working closely with the Head of Technical Services, you will contribute to the ongoing development and professionalization of the maintenance department.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and production lines
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations
• Contribute to technical improvement projects and optimization of production processes
• Train and support team members, especially in electrical and PLC-related knowledge
• Maintain accurate records in maintenance and fault management systems (e.g., Ultimo)
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures and support onboarding of new colleagues

Wat wij vragen

• Completed technical education (MBO level 4) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a similar field
• At least 5 years of experience as a maintenance or troubleshooting technician, preferably in the food industry
• Strong electrical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults effectively
• Proven experience in training and supporting colleagues
• Hands-on mindset with a proactive attitude toward challenges and improvement projects
• Good command of Dutch (spoken and written); additional languages such as English are an advantage

what will you do
In this role, you will bridge the gap between marketplace insights and seasonal product execution. Your focus will be on operational discipline, cross-functional collaboration, and translating consumer trends into compelling assortments.

You will operate within a dynamic matrix environment, collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders.

• Assortment support: Assist the Senior and Lead Merchants in building profitable, differentiated seasonal product lines for the EMEA market.
• System maintenance: Ensure accurate product, pricing, and line information in internal systems.
• Storytelling & visuals: Create clear assortment storyboards, product recaps, and impactful presentations.
• Sample coordination: Order, track and manage samples, taking charge of showroom set-ups for key seasonal reviews and sell-in moments.
• Insight gathering: Collect marketplace signals, consumer insights and trend observations to inform assortment conversations and identify gaps.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner daily with teams across channel merchandising, demand planning, design, and digital content creation.

You will be based at Nike's inspiring European Headquarters (EHQ) in Hilversum, a dynamic campus that reflects the values of the brand. Nike offers a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).
