In this role, you bridge the gap between daily logistics operations and the commercial department. You start your workday processing rate requests for ocean and air freight and creating precise, competitive quotes for clients. Next, you consult with operational teams to arrange efficient transport solutions and monitor execution. Throughout the day, you maintain direct communication with international clients and suppliers to optimize commercial opportunities and build strong relationships. Tasks Processing and calculating commercial quotes for air and ocean freight Managing rate databases and updating tariff structures Advising clients on suitable logistics and transport solutions Coordinating directly with internal operational departments Maintaining regular contact with international suppliers and clients Tracking market developments to offer competitive pricing Overseeing the commercial process from initial request to completion We are looking for Minimum of 2 to 3 years of work experience in an operational logistics environment Commercial mindset with a proactive work attitude Practical experience with inside sales or pricing in freight forwarding Fluent command of English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage Availability to start in October We offer Direct employment contract with our client A gross monthly salary of approximately € 3,400 based on your experience 8% holiday allowance 28 paid holiday days per year Reimbursed travel expenses Prospect of a permanent contract and clear progression opportunities Personal development opportunities within an international organization A great working atmosphere is guaranteed Why Staffice?
