We are looking for an intern to join our team, starting in January 2026. The ideal candidate will be available for a minimum of 6 months and 24 hours per week.

• Educational Background: Currently pursuing an HBO level degree in fields such as Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Laboratory Technology, Health Informatics, or Applied Data Science, or an MBO level qualification in Laboratory Technician, Medical Analyst
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of relevant systems and software, including MS Office and ERP systems.
• Key Competencies: Fluent in English (both verbally and in writing), with essential soft skills such as the ability to work independently and as part of a team, a detail-oriented approach, a result-driven mindset, and a proactive attitude.

As intern you will work on digitalizing our sample inventory into the digital system of Cis Pro and will work
on creating the procedures around the management of samples.

•  Registration of freezers location, samples and sample data.
•  Sample labelling.
•  Generation of new workflow for sample management.
•  Presentation of new workflow and project outcomes to department.

We are currently searching for an enthusiastic intern to strengthen our team. This team focuses on data collection, analysis, and reporting for the Manufacturing Science and Technology Supply Chain Lab, part of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Leiden.

We are seeking an MLO student for an internship starting November 2025, available 5 days a week for a minimum of 6 months.

• Study Level: MLO
• Availability: 6 months, 5 days a week, starting November 2025
• Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, fluent in English (verbal & written), with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an inquisitive, autonomous, and flexible mindset.

As an intern in our team, you will have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution. You will support our downstream scientific pillar in preparing for RSM execution and play an active role in improving our processes.

• You will help prepare buffer compounding sheets and work with the shared services department to ensure buffers are compounded properly.
• You will work with the team to ensure ordering of materials.
• You will help set up a working structure between our two groups to improve these processes internally.
• Your support in data verification and documentation review would be greatly appreciated by the team.
• In the six-month period, you will be contributing to the team to ensure the on-time start of our reduced scale model execution to enable commercial product support in the lab.

Wij zoeken een nauwkeurige en gemotiveerde MLO-stagiair(e) om het kwaliteitscontrole (QC) laboratorium in Leiden te versterken. Je gaat werken met biofarmaceutische processen en draagt direct bij aan de kwaliteitsbewaking van medicijnen die wereldwijd worden ingezet tegen ernstige ziektes

• €650 stagevergoeding (obv 40 uur per week)
• Breid je kennis uit met theorie en praktijk
• Je komt werken op onze locatie in Leiden
• Ontwikkel je persoonlijke & zakelijke vaardigheden
• Bouw je netwerk op binnen J&J Nederland
• Werk in de farmacie met internationale collega's

Je bent een MLO-student die werkervaring wil opdoen en het belang van kwaliteitsbewaking begrijpt.

• Je bent momenteel bezig met je MLO-opleiding (voorkeur 3e of 4e jaars niveau).
• Je beheerst de Engelse en Nederlandse taal goed.
• Je bent nauwkeurig, een teamspeler en wilt werken in een leuk team.
• Extra curriculaire activiteiten, zoals een bijbaan of verenigingswerk, zijn een pluspunt.

Het QC-laboratorium is essentieel voor het testen van grondstoffen, tussenproducten en eindproducten. Je komt terecht op de afdeling Separations.

• Uitvoeren van scheidingstechnieken (zoals HPLC, UPLC, cIEF, cSDS, SDS-Page, MS) en chemische testen.
• Leren werken volgens strikte protocollen, zoals Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) en Good Laboratorium Practices (GLP).
• Zorgen voor een nauwkeurige administratie en het eenvoudig terugzoekbaar maken van gegevens.
• Werken volgens veiligheidsafspraken, inclusief het gebruik van beschermingsmiddelen en de omgang met chemicaliën en naalden.
• Naast je praktijkervaring krijg je, indien nodig, de ruimte om aan een opdracht vanuit je opleiding te werken.
