PostNL Zaltbommel is a transfer and storage location, also known as a cross-dock, not a sorting center. A lot of trucks come to the depot; some arrive to unload roll containers, while others come to load them. You will ensure that containers are correctly placed for each driver, assisting with both loading and unloading. This includes positioning containers so they are ready for the next driver or stored temporarily without obstructing others. Arriving at the large PostNL warehouse in Zaltbommel, you greet your colleagues and grab a quick drink. You put on your work shoes, store your belongings in a locker, and get ready to start your shift!

• Working days: Monday through Sunday.
• Working hours:  evening/night shift 20:00 – 05:00, night shift 01:30 – 10:00.

So, what exactly does a logistic employee do at PostNL Zaltbommel? As a transfer and storage location for PostNL, you will be working with your colleagues to load and unload trucks. Drivers come and go throughout the day. You will help them by unloading roll containers and placing them in the correct storage areas. You will do this at a steady pace, allowing the drivers to get back on the road quickly. If an empty truck arrives, you will help with loading, ensuring the correct containers go with the driver. Since trucks arrive at various times, your work operates on a rotating shift schedule.

• Working days: Monday through Sunday.
• Working hours: evening/night shift 20:00 – 05:00, night shift 01:30 – 10:00.

As a logistic employee, you will be part of an international team. Together you will ensure each driver sends the correct roll containers out. Drivers come and go frequently, and team leaders are open to your ideas if you see ways to improve the process. The process manager and (assistant) team leaders are also from the Tempo Team. They maintain close contact with our planning and HR departments. Have questions or issues? There is always someone available to help. Convenient, right? Als logistiek medewerker heb je in ieder geval zin om te beginnen! Verder is het volgende belangrijk:

• Je bent tussen 3 - 5 dagen per week beschikbaar
• Je bent flexibel beschikbaar voor dag-, avond- en nachtdiensten

Als logistiek medewerker kom je te werken bij het sorteermagazijn van PostNL Zaltbommel. Samen met je collega's ben je druk bezig met het laden en lossen van vrachtwagens. Je helpt de chauffeur met het lossen van de rolcontainers. Je zet ze vervolgens in de juiste vakken in het magazijn neer. Dit doe je in een lekker tempo, zo kan de chauffeur snel weer door. Komt er een lege vrachtwagen aan? Dan help je met het laden van de vrachtwagen. Je checkt goed of je de juiste rolcontainers mee geeft. De vrachtwagens komen binnen op heel veel verschillende momenten. Daarom werk je in roulatie diensten. Je werkt in een 4 ploegendienst en deze zien er als volgt uit:

• Werkdagen: maandag tot en met zondag
• Ploegtijden: Ochtend: tussen 05.00 en 13:30 uur |  Avond: tussen 20:00 tot 05.00 uur | Nacht: tussen 01:30 en 10:00 uur

Als logistiek medewerker zorg je samen met een internationaal team dat de juiste rolcontainers meegaan met de chauffeurs. Het is een dynamische omgeving: chauffeurs komen en gaan, dus er is volop beweging! Heb je vragen of loopt iets niet lekker? Dan kun je altijd snel bij iemand terecht. Wel zo prettig! Of je nu in de ochtendzon begint of juist de avondploeg draait, jij zorgt dat de voorraad altijd tiptop in orde is. De sfeer is energiek en de tijd vliegt voorbij terwijl je lekker fysiek bezig bent!
