YER Tech Solutions (TS) is looking for an entrepreneurial Lead Mechanical Engineer who wants to be at the forefront of something new. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering capabilities, by writing the SoW based on the customer intakes you will do, helping win projects, defining how we deliver them, and leading their successful execution.

You won't inherit a mature organisation with fixed processes and legacy structures. Instead, you'll help create the foundation of a growing engineering business with ambitious plans in the Netherlands and beyond.

Your role

As Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will bridge engineering, sales and delivery.

Ben jij een ervaren Lead Mechanical Engineer met een passie voor high-tech machinebouw en Advanced Packaging technologie? In Beuningen zoeken we een technisch leider die mechanische concepten ontwerpt voor next-generation verpakkingsmachines, specifiek gericht op nauwkeurigheid en throughput. Je werkt aan innovatieve oplossingen voor de semiconductor- en high-tech industrie, voert FEM-analyses en stijfheidsberekeningen uit en vertaalt ISO 3 cleanroom-eisen naar praktische ontwerpen. De rol start met stevige individuele bijdragen, maar groeit richting coaching en aansturing van junior engineers naarmate projecten uitbreiden. Je werkt nauw samen met interne teams en development centers in Singapore en Hong Kong, en stemt af met Europese partners om prototypes te testen en te integreren tot productierijpe machines. Incidenteel internationaal reizen hoort bij de functie om prototypes en productieoverdrachten te begeleiden. Functie-inhoud

• Ontwerpen en optimaliseren van mechanische concepten voor Advanced Packaging machines met focus op nauwkeurigheid en doorvoersnelheid.
• Uitvoeren van berekeningen en geavanceerde simulaties zoals FEM, stijfheidsberekeningen en eigenfrequentie-analyses voor machineontwerp.
• Vertalen van ISO 3 cleanroom-eisen naar praktische ontwerpregels en richtlijnen voor prototypes en productieseries.
• Samenwerken met in-house teams en development centres in Singapore en Hong Kong evenals Europese partners.
• Testen, integreren en valideren van prototypes en aantonen van volledige prestatie voor overdracht naar productieserie.

Functie-eisen

• Afgeronde master in Mechanical Design; een PhD of PDEng in Mechanica is een duidelijke pré voor deze rol.

Your role

As Systems Engineer, you will bridge customer requirements, engineering disciplines and project delivery.

You are responsible for translating customer needs into clear system requirements, architectures and interfaces. You ensure that mechanical, electrical and software elements work together as one integrated solution and that projects remain aligned with customer expectations throughout the development process.

While Mechanical Engineers focus on designing and realising the physical solution, you focus on defining what the system must do, how the different subsystems interact and how compliance with requirements is demonstrated.

Je werkt vanuit de regio Zuid (Boxmeer) en staat onder begeleiding van een ervaren lead engineer. Dagelijks besteed je tijd aan 3D-modelleren, technische tekeningen en samenwerking met productie en leveranciers om ontwerpen maakbaar te krijgen. Je krijgt ruimte om verschillende deelgebieden te ontdekken, van detaillering tot assemblage en testen. De functie is geschikt als je net afgestudeerd bent of enkele stages/projecten op je naam hebt staan en je snel meer verantwoordelijkheden wilt. Er is keuze voor een 32- of 40-urige werkweek en aandacht voor persoonlijke ontwikkeling en doorgroeien binnen technische projecten.
