who are you
To keep the warehouse operational, it is important that as a warehouse employee you meet the following requirements: ✅

• You are 18 years or older and speak Dutch or English.
• You are able to handle physical work, lifting packages up to 25 kilograms.
• You are available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
• You are available for a minimum of 3 evenings per week until 11:45 PM.
• You are willing to work in Breda.
• You have your own transportation (bicycle, car, or scooter).
• You are available to start within a month.

what will you do
In this side job, you'll stay active by receiving, sorting, and loading goods 🚚. As a warehouse employee, you play a key role in the logistics process, making sure every shipment gets exactly where it needs to go! 📦

• Unloading and registering packages;
• Sorting goods for the correct shipments;
• Loading orders to ensure excellent service.

where will you work
Based in our Breda warehouse, you'll help sort nightly shipments for technicians, handling everything from small parts to full pallets 📦. You’ll join an informal, friendly team where a buddy will personally show you the ropes from day one 🤝. This side job offers great extras: you can grow within SLS Benelux, follow Randstad training courses, and you'll even start building up your pension immediately! 📈🏦

• Salary of € 15.00 per hour for hours between 7:45 PM and 10:00 PM, and € 19.50 per hour from 10:00 PM onwards. You even get paid during your break!
• On top of your salary, you receive a travel allowance of € 0.23 per kilometer and 8% holiday allowance.

Keep in mind, the work can be physically demanding, including lifting boxes that weigh up to 16 kg.

At Bidfood there are both part-time and fulltime possibilities as a warehouse employee. If you work part-time you work for 2 to 4 days per week. Rather work fulltime? Then you will work 4 till 5 days per week.

• Working hours are Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 14:30 and 14:30 – 23:00, Sun: 15:00 – 23:00.
• Do you work part-time? In that case, starting at 17:30 on weekdays is possible upon consultation. Working on Sundays is mandatory.

What will you do
Working as a warehouse employee at DPD is actually quite simple: sorting packages. But what exactly does it all involve? The packages arrive with their freight. This freight needs to be unloaded, and then the roll containers are moved to the correct location. Then, all the packages are placed on the conveyor belt. On the other side of the depot, the sorting staff are ready to start sorting the packages. You do this by postal code. Be careful, or the package will go the wrong way. And we certainly don't want that! Also, keep in mind that the packages can sometimes weigh up to 23 kg. This way, you'll be training your arm muscles every day! Once all the packages are processed, the workday is over and the packages can be delivered to the customer.
