In the maintenance department, where the temperature is constantly around 14 degrees celsius, you, as a logistics employee, are responsible for moving pallets of cheeses. You do this using an EPT (Elemental Posting Machine). You ensure that the production lines are supplied with cheeses that require maintenance, such as applying a protective coating or turning the cheese. This process is fully automated using modern machinery. During your work, you use a WMS screen on your EPT. This displays the tasks you need to perform and confirms when an order is ready. The work is light physically, as you will primarily be driving and operating systems.

  • You will work in a refrigerated area (approx. 14°C) where you will collect and move various types of cheese.
  • You will ensure that the production lines are continuously supplied with cheeses that need to be processed (machine turning and coating);
  • Experience with an EPT is a plus, but not required.
where will you work

Velder has 4 million kilos of cheese, primarily whole Dutch cheeses. Velder in Bodegraven takes good care of its employees and offers a pleasant work environment. When you start, you will receive a jacket, hat, turtleneck, and gloves. Randstad will provide you with a pair of work shoes. As a logistics employee, you like to get things done! You don’t mind doing physically demanding work. No experience? No problem! We’ll teach you the tasks. You’re also:

What will you do

At DPD in Joure, you’ll be working with packages. All the packages need to be sorted properly so that they’re sent in the right direction. How do we do that? Let me explain! The packages come in with our trucks, and it’s your job, along with your colleagues, to unload them. After that, you’ll take all the rolling containers to the right spot. A team of colleagues will be there to place the packages on the conveyor belt. After a smooth journey on the belt, they’ll reach the sorting department, where the packages are sorted by postcode. Sounds simple, but don’t be fooled! You’ll need to stay sharp. Can you spot the difference between 5665 and 5656 in just a few seconds? Also, the packages can weigh up to 23 kg. Think of it as a workout, and you’re getting paid for it! Once all the packages are sorted, your shift is done!

  • Night shifts from 04:00 to 07:30
  • Afternoon shifts from 16:00 to 19:30
  • Workdays from Monday to Saturday
Where will you work

You’ll be working at DPD in Joure, one of the friendliest cities in Friesland. Or as they say in Frisian: ‘de moaiste stêd fan Fryslân’ (the most beautiful city in Friesland). The atmosphere is informal, and fun is central. Everyone knows each other and often has a chat. Of course, the logistics employees also work hard. The packages must be sorted on time! The warehouse is a bit remote, so having your own transport is a must!

What will you do

As a warehouse worker for Calvin Klein, you’ll be part of a close and energetic team! Every day starts with a quick check-in with your team leader. They let you know which department you’ll be working in. When it’s time for order picking, you grab your list and get moving! You're collecting shirts, underwear, shoes and more from the huge warehouse in Oud Gastel. Once your orders are ready, you hand them over to the packing team. They make sure everything is perfectly prepared for shipping. Together, you make sure Calvin Klein’s products reach customers all over the world. Teamwork makes the dream work! 💪

You'll work in a 2 shift schedule. So that means: one week in the morning shift and the other week in the afternoon shift. Monday to Thursday the working hours are: 06:00h - 14:30h and 15:00h - 23:30h. On Friday we like to enjoy the weekend early. So on Fridays you'll work: 06:00h - 12:30h or 13:00h - 19:30h.🥳
