Als Value Added Services (VAS) Medewerker bij Samsung SDS in Holtum speel je een belangrijke rol binnen het warehouse. Jij zorgt ervoor dat producten correct worden verwerkt, gecontroleerd en klaargemaakt voor de klant. Geen dag is hetzelfde, want je werkt op verschillende afdelingen binnen de VAS-omgeving.

Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

• Pre-Installation: het configureren van printers volgens klantspecificaties. Je pakt de printers uit, voert functionele controles uit, stelt deze in en maakt ze verzendklaar.
• Returns: het beoordelen en verwerken van retourzendingen. Je controleert producten op schade of gebreken, herstelt waar mogelijk de verpakking en zorgt voor een correcte administratieve verwerking.
• Damages: het inspecteren van beschadigde producten en verpakkingen. Je voert reparaties uit of vervangt verpakkingsmaterialen, zodat producten snel weer beschikbaar zijn voor de voorraad of verzending.

Je werkt nauw samen met collega's en rapporteert aan de coördinator van de afdeling

Functie-eisen
We are looking for a candidate who recognizes themselves in the following profile:

• Experience working with computer systems, scanners, and printers;
• Knowledge of Excel and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS);
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
• An enthusiastic team player who can also work independently.

Bedrijfsomschrijving At EDCO Helmond, you will work in a modern distribution center where thousands of products are processed daily for customers across Europe. With an assortment of more than 20,000 items and a dynamic logistics environment, EDCO offers plenty of opportunities for proactive team players who enjoy collaboration and variety in their work. Together, we ensure that orders are delivered to customers quickly, safely, and on time.

Functieomschrijving
Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading goods;
• Moving and stacking pallets;
• Processing and handling products within the warehouse;
• Lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 23 kg;
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

You will also perform various Value Added Services (VAS), such as:

• Applying stickers and labels to products;
• Repacking and packaging items;
• Preparing products for shipment;
• Inflating and preparing sports and recreational products for distribution.

You will primarily work in a day shift from 07:00 AM – 04:00 PM. During peak periods in July till October, a two-shift schedule will apply:

• 06:00 AM – 03:00 PM
• 03:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• A 12.5% shift allowance applies during these periods.

Functie-eisen
You are someone who enjoys physical work and likes to stay active throughout the day.

Additionally, you:

• Are physically fit and enjoy hands-on work;
• Are available to work fulltime and can commit to a fixed work schedule;
• Are flexible and willing to work shifts during peak in July till October;
• Have an EPT certificate or are willing to obtain one;
• Live in Helmond or nearby;
• Have a good command of Dutch and/or English;
• Are motivated and reliable.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

• Gross hourly wage of €14.99, increasing to €16.84 during peak periods, including a 12.5% shift allowance;
• Travel allowance of €0.25 per one-way kilometer;
• 15.9% pension contribution paid by the employer;
• 25 vacation days per year based on full-time employment;
• A full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday;
• Free on-site parking;
• Modern and clean cafeteria with excellent facilities, including an air fryer, panini grill, and various meal preparation options.
