Who you are
During your holidays, you can join our team with a holiday job as a logistics employee. Additionally, it is important that you meet the following requirements:

• You are 18 years or older
• You are available to work day shifts from Monday to Friday between 08:00 a.m. - 04:00 p.m. (until the end of the shift, so sometimes you may need to stay longer)
• You are available for a minimum of 4 weeks between June 8 - August 29
• You can work in Waddinxveen
• You can speak English or Dutch
• You have own accommodation

What will you do
At Lekkerland in Waddinxveen, you will work as a logistics employee in the Tobacco department. Using various picking systems, you will collect orders from retail customers for shipment. In the tobacco department, you will work using pick-to-light. This is an order picking system where a light illuminates at the rack from which you need to retrieve the products. Easy! Of course, you will receive thorough training before you start working independently.

Where will you work
In addition to working at Lekkerland with super nice colleagues, you will also receive a warm welcome. You will be thoroughly trained by your colleagues, to whom you can also ask all your questions. As an orderpicker, you will work day shifts. The working days are from Monday to Friday. Fortunately, your schedule will clearly state exactly what time you are expected at work well in advance. This way, you will have enough time for other fun things during your holiday, such as a BBQ with friends or a drink in the late sun.

Who you are
As an orderpicker, you want to get started quickly. You also meet the following requirements:

• You are available to work from 6:00 AM until 12:00 or 13:00 PM (end time might differ);
• You are a minimum of 2 days a week available;
• You have your own accommodation in the area of Aalsmeer or can get here easily;
• You speak Dutch or English;
• You are minimum 165CM tall;
• You are available for at least 4 months;
• You are minimum 18 years old (due to working hours).

What will you do
Let's be honest. Who wouldn't want to work surrounded by the wonderful scent of flowers? 🪻🌼 As a flower orderpicker, you will make sure the flowers reach the right customer. You will work with a voice picking system (a headset) that gives you orders. It tells you which flowers you need and which cart to put them on. Once your cart is complete, you will use a electric trolley to move it to the right location in the warehouse. You will receive excellent guidance - you will be a pro in no time! 🚀

Where will you work
As a flower orderpicker, you'll be working in a warehouse full of flowers. The Royal FloraHolland flower distribution center is located in Aalsmeer and is the biggest one in Europe! ✨ You can easily get there by car or public transport, and public transport is fully reimbursed! It's a good idea to check if public transport works with your working hours. If that doesn't work, we offer pick-up services from Amsterdam North, South, East, or Weesp. 🎉 Furthermore you will get other good employment conditions. You will get 27 vacation days a year. Also you will get access to a wide range of training opportunities. You can get a course to improve your Dutch language. If you perform well, you could also work at Royal FloraHolland for a longer period!
