what we offerTo qualify as a reachtruck driver, it is important that you meet the following requirements:
When you arrive on-site, you go straight upstairs to change. Then you clock in and start working as a reachtruck driver. You'll work with orders that you'll pick using voice picking. Because you're driving a reachtruck, you'll pick all the orders that are high up. You'll do this in the dry dock (+-17 degrees Celsius), the cooling room (+-3 degrees Celsius), and the freezer (+-18 degrees Celsius). You'll take a break in the spacious and clean canteen. Your shift usually ends around midnight, but sometimes there's more work or a lot of sick leave, so it might run a little over. You'll be paid accordingly, of course.
Bidfood is a large wholesaler in the foodservice industry. They have 16 locations in the Netherlands and 1,700 employees. Bidfood supplies fresh products to 25,000 customers throughout the Netherlands.
Regular surcharges: 00:00 - 04:00: 50% extra, 04:00 - 06:00: 25%, 19:00 - 22:00: 25%, and 22:00 - 00:00: 50%. Saturdays between 50% and 100% extra, and Sundays 00:00 - 22:00: 100% extra.
