FunctieomschrijvingBen jij goed in het analyseren van processen, werk je graag met cijfers én wil je een afwisselende baan in de supply chain? Dan hebben wij een mooie kans voor jou! In deze baan heb je dagelijks contact met klanten over hun orders en de levering daarvan. Je verwerkt nieuwe orders, houdt het revisiebeheer bij en zorgt dat alles correct in het systeem staat. Omdat alle onderdelen per order inkopen bij een breed netwerk van leveranciers, ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het tijdig en efficiënt inkopen van deze materialen. Daarbij let je goed op kwaliteit, kosten en levertijden. Je zorgt ervoor dat onderdelen just-in-time binnenkomen. Het ERP-systeem maakt een basisplanning, maar door wisselende levertijden of andere veranderingen is handmatige bijsturing vaak nodig. Jij houdt de planning actueel, ziet snel waar knelpunten kunnen ontstaan en past deze aan wanneer nodig. Je kunt goed prioriteiten stellen, behoudt overzicht en snapt precies wat de gevolgen zijn van elke wijziging in het proces. Omdat planning en inkoop nauw met elkaar verbonden zijn, is scherp inzicht hierbij essentieel. Ons doel is dat je uiteindelijk doorgroeit naar een senior rol binnen dit hele proces. Je werkzaamheden ontstaan onder andere uit: Je koopt onderdelen in op de beste manier, met de juiste kwaliteit Je zorgt dat onderdelen precies op tijd worden geleverd en dat de voorraad laag blijft Je houdt de planning altijd up-to-date, zowel voor bestellingen bij leveranciers als voor de montage van klantorders Je merkt op tijd wanneer er problemen dreigen te ontstaan en onderneemt direct actie Je bent een belangrijk schakelpunt binnen de planning Je communiceert duidelijk met klanten en leveranciers Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor vragen over orders en prijzen Je maakt calculaties op basis van offertes van leveranciers Je helpt mee om levertijden te halen en een hoge leverbetrouwbaarheid te waarborgen Je werkdag begint op kantoor om 8:00 met een kop koffie of thee, en je bent klaar om 16:45, van maandag tot vrijdag. Over de vacature

In this role, you will work at the intersection of Finance, Manufacturing and Supply Chain, making sure operational activities are correctly reflected in financial reporting. A key part of your position will be inventory accounting and product costing, while also providing insights that help the business understand financial performance. Support *inventory accounting and *product costing activities; Execute and monitor costs in *SAP (Material Ledger); Review production order settlements, work in progress (WIP) and manufacturing variances; Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities; Ensure accurate inventory valuation in accordance with applicable accounting standards; Analyze inventory movements, production variances and valuation drivers; Support COGS calculations and inventory-related reporting; Translate manufacturing and supply chain activities into the appropriate financial transactions; Provide Finance and Operations stakeholders with relevant financial insights; Support working capital and inventory optimization initiatives.Alongside your day-to-day financial responsibilities, you will contribute to improving and standardizing processes across the international organization. You will work with different stakeholders to strengthen financial controls, improve SAP processes and make costing and inventory procedures more efficient and consistent. - Help standardize inventory valuation and product costing processes across different entities and locations; Contribute to *SAP improvements, system changes and automation projects ; Identify opportunities to reduce manual activities and improve existing processes; Create and maintain process documentation and training materials; Participate in user acceptance testing for cross-functional system and process changes; Support inventory valuation in accordance with *IFRS, local GAAP and relevant tax requirements ; Maintain and further develop internal controls related to inventory; Assist with internal and external audit activities; Handle topics such as inventory reserves, obsolescence, lower-of-cost-or-market considerations and intercompany eliminations; Maintain relevant controlling master data, including periodic allocation cycles. Initially, part of your focus will be supporting costing activities connected to the company's German operations. In the longer term, your scope will become increasingly international, with a focus on improving and standardizing inventory and costing processes across different locations. # Requirements For this position, we are looking for someone who brings: - A Bachelor's degree in *Accounting, Finance, Business Economics or a comparable field; At least *3-5 years of relevant financial accounting experience , with significant exposure to inventory accounting and/or product costing; Experience working within a *manufacturing or production environment ; Strong knowledge of inventory valuation and product costing principles; The ability to understand operational manufacturing processes and translate them into financial transactions; Strong *SAP knowledge, preferably including *FICO, Material Ledger and Product Costing ; Advanced *Excel skills; Experience with or knowledge of *Power BI is a plus ; Professional fluency *English , verbally and in writing, German is a plus Who are you?- You are analytical and structured, but you also enjoy working with stakeholders outside of Finance.
