Who you are
o you love to roll up your sleeves and get to work? And do you enjoy production work? Perfect! ✨ This is what we need:

• You have your own transport to come to Saturn in Hattem;
• You are available to work atleast one day in a week;
• You are at least 18, because of the working hours;
• You speak Dutch or English for safety reasons within the factory.

What will you do
Do you have your working shoes ready? 👟 Your shift is about to start! 🕒 When you work as a production employee at Saturn, there are a few options for you to start. For example you can work at the meat department, this is where the meat gets prepared to be the delicious pet food! 🥩 Or you could work at the filling line. You are checking the machines that put the meals into the packages. 🥫 An empty package isn’t going to sell, so as a production employee you can also stand at the packaging line. 📦 Here you make sure that the labels are put on accordingly and also that the pallets are piled up correctly. 🏗️ You’ll be working in three shifts from Monday to Friday. 🔄 Your working times are: 07:00-15:00, 15:00-23:00, 23:00-07:00! 🚀

Who you are
Are you the perfect candidate for Marel?
You are:

• Full-time available
• Available in dayshift between 06:00-17:00 (Week 1: 06:00-14:30 and Week 2: 08:30-17:00)
• Or 2 shifts: Week 1: Mon to Thu 06:00-15:00 and Fri 06:00-13:30 -
• Week 2: Mon to Thu 15:00-00:00 and Fri 13:30-19:00
• Motivated to drive with reach truck, forklift truck and/or EPT
• Proficient in English
• Logistical experience is appreciated but not needed
• Forklift and/or reach truck certificate required!

What will you do
As an all-round warehouse employee, you’ll take on a variety of tasks, including order picking, sorting, packing, and operating both the reach truck and forklift. You’ll start by working with a hand scanner in the order-picking loop, allowing you to get familiar with the products and company processes. From there, you’ll quickly be trained in other essential warehouse tasks to expand your skill set.

Your tasks will be diverse and flexible. When reach truck operations are minimal, you’ll assist with order collection on foot. As a reach truck operator, you’ll also be responsible for picking items directly from the racks, making it a dynamic role where you frequently switch between driving and manual tasks.

Marel operates a vast and dynamic warehouse focused on the design, assembly, and installation of advanced machinery for meat processing, including poultry, fish, and meat. The facility also manages a streamlined logistics process, where parts are picked for in-house production and spare parts are prepared for shipment to customers.
