In the maintenance department, where the temperature is constantly around 14 degrees celsius, you, as a logistics employee seasonal work, are responsible for moving pallets of cheeses. You do this using an EPT (Elemental Posting Machine). You ensure that the production lines are supplied with cheeses that require maintenance, such as applying a protective coating or turning the cheese. This process is fully automated using modern machinery. During your work, you use a WMS screen on your EPT. This displays the tasks you need to perform and confirms when an order is ready. The work is light physically, as you will primarily be driving and operating systems.
Velder has 4 million kilos of cheese, primarily whole Dutch cheeses. Velder in Bodegraven takes good care of its employees and offers a pleasant work environment. When you start, you will receive a jacket, hat, turtleneck, and gloves. Randstad will provide you with a pair of work shoes.
