who are you
To keep mail processing running, it is important that you, as a mail sorter, meet the following requirements:

• You are 18 years or older.
• You speak Dutch or English.
• You are available for at least 5 evenings.
• You can work between 18:45 and 00:30.
• You are physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg.

what will you do
As a mail sorter, you are responsible for separating mail and packages delivered by drivers. You sort the mail from containers: packages go to the sorting center, and you separate letter mail by color code for further internal processing.

• Unloading vans with mail.
• Performing sorting tasks.
• Collaborating with colleagues to achieve the goals.

As a mail sorter, you ensure that the mail is sorted correctly. You are accurate and have a sense of responsibility. You recognize yourself in the following points:

• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You speak Dutch or English.
• You are willing to work in Nieuwegein.
• You are available for an average of 3 night shifts per week.
• You are available between 23:00 and 06:00.
• You have your own transportation.
• You are available to work on Monday and Tuesday nights.

what will you do
As a mail sorter at PostNL, you ensure that the mail arrives at the correct address. You sort the mail mechanically into different bins based on postcode, district, or city. Is there mail that cannot go through the machine? Then you sort it by hand. Thanks to you, the machine keeps running, and you are indispensable in the mail delivery process.

• Keeping the mail sorting machine operational.
• Manually processing mail when problems occur.
• Feeding the machine.
• Removing the processed mail.
• Jointly keeping the workspace clean.

where will you work
PostNL has been delivering special moments for 220 years. Every day, they ensure that everyone receives their mail. Together with 38,000 colleagues, you will make sending and receiving mail very simple. As a mail sorter, you will work in the warehouse in Nieuwegein. When you start working, we will, of course, include you in our pension scheme.

• Travel expenses are reimbursed: 0.22 per km.
• We do not offer a guarantee of hours.
• Due to allowances, you will receive up to € 20,59 per hour.
