To keep the warehouse running, it is important that you, as a warehouse employee, meet the following requirements:

• You have your own transport;
• You can work in Tilburg;
• You are available full-time;
• You speak Dutch or English;
• You are available for day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM;
• You have a strong technical affinity (e.g., experience with cables and lighting).

As a warehouse employee at DSV, you will be essential to the logistics process. Everything in the VAL/VAS department is becoming increasingly technical: you'll be connecting cables, adjusting lamps, and performing minor technical tasks, for example. You will also be responsible for:

• 📦 Unloading incoming containers;
• ✂️ Unpacking;
• 📑 Light administrative tasks in the WMS system;
• 🔄 Sorting and putting away items;
• ✨ Working in accordance with safety regulations.

Introduction:
Before you start, you will follow an introductory program, which consists of three days. You will also receive a complimentary lunch from Scania on your first day. You will also receive clothes, safety shoes, and an access pass. You are expected to wear your safety shoes and clothes on the workfloor.

At the end of the program, Randstad will inform you where you will work on the production line. After the program, you will start working. Your supervisor will welcome you and take care of your training.

Working hours:
You will work in three shifts: 06:00 to 14:18, 14:18 to 22:36 (with the exception of Friday evening which is until 23:00), and 22:36 to 06:00 (with the exception of Sundaynight which starts at 22:00) The shifts rotate on a weekly basis; you will work in the morning shift one week, in the afternoon shift the next week, and in the night shift the week thereafter. The night shift starts on Sunday at 22:00. You may have to work on Saturday mornings. This happens about four to five times a year.

Pause:
Breaks: You have 50 minutes for breaks a day. This consists of one break of 30 minutes and two breaks of ten minutes. We have an on-premise cafetaria where you can buy food.

• You must understand, speak, and read English. Our work instructions are in English. You will communicate with your colleagues in English. Because safety is very important to us, you need to be able to communicate clearly.
• Couples can also work at Scania, they will always be scheduled for the same shift, but for different departments.
• Transport to work is guaranteed, people with a driving license become drivers of company cars, if necessary.
• Your motivation for working at Scania must be because you like the company and the role, not because of the salary. You also need to be reliable.
• Experience with logistics is nice to have.
• Forklift or reach truck certification is nice to have.
• You must be physically fit.
• Employee must wear Scania Meppel's work shoes.

Scania is a global manufacturer of trucks, buses, and ship engines. We paint the parts of our truck cabs in Meppel. The parts are mostly painted by robots, but some paint jobs are done by hand.

We are always looking for eager colleagues for our production department. This team assembles the painted parts. If you join our team, you will work in a 3-shift rotation.

Job Description
You will work on a part of the cabin or at the loading department in a team of six to twelve people. You assemble the parts by hand or with tools, so they can be shipped to our other production sites, where we assemble the trucks. Or you are order picking parts and will hang up parts of will pick parts down. We are looking for detail-oriented and diligent people.

• Scania has a zero tolerance policy concerning alcohol and drugs. Being intoxicated at work and bringing alcohol or drugs are grounds for immediate termination.
