So, what exactly does a logistic employee do at PostNL Zaltbommel? As a transfer and storage location for PostNL, you will be working with your colleagues to load and unload trucks. Drivers come and go throughout the day. You will help them by unloading roll containers and placing them in the correct storage areas. You will do this at a steady pace, allowing the drivers to get back on the road quickly. If an empty truck arrives, you will help with loading, ensuring the correct containers go with the driver. Since trucks arrive at various times, your work operates on a rotating shift schedule.
As a logistic employee, you will be part of an international team. Together you will ensure each driver sends the correct roll containers out. Drivers come and go frequently, and team leaders are open to your ideas if you see ways to improve the process. The process manager and (assistant) team leaders are also from the Tempo Team. They maintain close contact with our planning and HR departments. Have questions or issues? There is always someone available to help. Convenient, right?
