What will you do
You will work in a team, the team is responsible for loading and sorting packages.
Sorteren: When the packages come from the sorting machine and land into the slot, the packages must be placed in the correct roller container. You need to look carefully at the postal code that is on the package so that it is placed in the right roller container and ends up in the correct city.
Opvoeren: Raising packages means that the appropriate packages must be properly placed on the sorting machine, ie with the barcode upwards. The sorting machine reads the barcode on the package and knows which slot the package should come down to. Some packages are not suitable for the sorting machine by the size or weight they have. You need to make sure that only appropriate packages are on the machine, otherwise it will lead to a malfunction.
LoLa: As a LoLa employee (loading/unloading), you make sure that the trucks arriving at the depots during the evening are emptied. Often, these trucks contain rolling containers with packages and the rolling containers must be removed from the trucks. You need to put these containers in the right place so that a colleague can take care of the further process. At the end of the evening, the sorted packages need to be placed in the correct truck again.
Crossdock: This task consists of loading and unloading containers whose packages are already sorted but need to be placed in a different truck. Moreover, the work is mostly outside.

We have Postnl warehouses all over the Netherlands so we can look together to find the right one for you.

What will you do
You will do the loading and unloading the parcels. Keep in mind that it is physically demanding work, parcels can be heavy. For the heavy parcels, you will work together with a colleague. A brand new building, where you will work as a warehouse employee. There is a good atmosphere around the teams and your colleagues!
Shifts and Working hours:
There are three different ships at DPD Oirschot.
Shift 1: from 14:00 to 22:30
Shift 2: from 18:30 till 03:00 or 04:00
Shift 3: from 22:30 to 07:00
Shift addison's:
from 20:00 until 00:00 normal + 30 %
from 00:00 until 06:00 normal + 45 % Sunday + 50%
Overtime addition:
Overtime 115%, 150%, 165% depends on the day
Where will you work
DPD is a logistic company. DPD receives parcels from individuals and businesses, and then parcels are reloaded from DPD to other destinations.
