Werk jij graag met je handen en ben je graag fysiek bezig? Als operator draag je de zorg rondom het machinaal snijden van glas conform model en planning. Je komt te werken met gloednieuwe, geavanceerde machines met als doel dat je zelfstandig de gehele installatie kunt bedienen. Kort samengevat bestaat jouw takenpakket uit:

• Machinaal glazen raamwerken op maat snijden met behulp van een mal of model.
• Assemblage- en productiewerkzaamheden met computer gestuurde machines.
• Meerdere taken en werkzaamheden omtrent jouw productie rol.
• Het verrichten van kwaliteitscontroles.
• Knelpunten signaleren en storingen verhelpen of voorkomen.
• Verbeterpunten signaleren met betrekking tot efficiëntie en veiligheid.

Wat je gaat doen

Als Operator glasindustrie bij Scheuten Glas in Venlo werk je aan de lamineerlijn, waar je een belangrijke bijdrage levert aan het verwerken van glasplaten (6 meter x 3,15 meter) die uiteindelijk in woningen, hotels en bijzondere projecten worden gebruikt. Je werkt met computergestuurde machines in een moderne productieomgeving en zorgt ervoor dat het proces soepel en nauwkeurig verloopt. Wat je gaat doen:

• Instellen en bedienen van computergestuurde lamineermachines: zorgen dat de machines optimaal functioneren voor een nauwkeurig productieproces.
• Controleren van het productieproces: bewaken van de voortgang en signaleren van afwijkingen.

Who you are

What will you do
As a Drawing Operator, you lay the foundation for fast communication by drawing optical fibers. You work accurately and independently. The main tasks you will perform are:

• Operating, setting up, and monitoring advanced process installations;
• Identifying anomalies and independently making adjustments to the process;
• You speak English or Dutch good;
• Performing checks and first-line maintenance on the installations;
• Actively contributing to improvements, including through 5S and continuous improvement methodologies;
• Working flexibly across multiple production areas, which provides variety and opportunities for personal development.

Where will you work
You will be working for the world's largest producer of optical fiber, starting on the day shift (however, you will immediately receive the shift allowance to make it appealing). Flexibility is required for this new project, as operations will transition to a 2-shift system, and eventually to a 5-shift system once everyone is fully onboarded.

A 5-shift system means you will work 2 days from 06:00 to 14:00, 2 days from 14:00 to 22:00, and 2 nights from 22:00 to 06:00. After this, you will have 4 days off before your schedule starts over. Twice a year, the company switches to a 4-shift schedule, which offers less regularity in your shift pattern.

Wat ga je doen
Als inpakker ga je aan de slag in een dynamische glasfabriek waar het werk nooit stilstaat; de productie draait hier namelijk 24/7 door. ✨ Het is een fascinerend proces om te zien hoe de gloeiende ovens continu nieuw glaswerk maken! 🔥 Zodra de glazen klaar zijn, rollen ze via de transportband jouw kant op. Jouw taak? De glazen vlot van de band pakken en netjes in dozen inpakken. 📦 Vervolgens stapel je deze dozen op pallets, waarna een collega ze met de heftruck ophaalt. Dankzij jouw inzet worden de bestellingen op tijd geleverd aan IKEA en kunnen de klanten daar straks met een glimlach hun nieuwe glazen kopen! 😃

• Bij LCG wordt in ploegen gewerkt. Je bent in ieder geval beschikbaar voor de nachtdienst: 21:45-05:45.
• Je kan ook kiezen voor werken in meer diensten: de ochtenddienst 05:45-13:45 of de middagdienst 13:45-21:45.
