As a forklift driver, you will be working on different things within the department. You will do this with forklift but, also without. So you have a lot of variety in this job and work together with a team of about 10 colleagues.
where will you workFedEx is an international carrier of packages. Every week, FedEx transports 4.4 million packages, documents and freight to 200 countries. FedEx has one of its distribution centers in Eindhoven, where you will be working. This is where the trucks are unloaded, the packages sorted and the trucks reloaded. At DSV Road Ede, you'll work as a warehouse employee. You will prepare the goods and transport them to the correct location. Thanks to you and your team, the logistics process runs smoothly. You’ll do this using an electric pallet truck (EPT). Whether or not you have experience, that’s no problem. As long as you give it your full 110%!
Your working hours are: 07:30 - 16:00, 16:00 - 23:00, or 21:30 - 06:00. You might be asked to work an alternative shift, such as from 13:00 to 21:30. Between the hours of 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM, you will receive an 8.75% bonus for every hour worked!
