Jouw werkplek

Infinity, formerly known as ING House, is an iconic and sustainable office building located in Amsterdam's Zuidas district. Designed by Meyer and Van Schooten, its unique shape-often compared to a shoe or a flat iron-rests on 16 angled steel legs. Today, it serves as a modern multi-tenant office space.

Within this building, Vermaat Group operates corporate restaurants for leading organizations such as IMC (a trading firm), Simon-Kucher (a marketing consultancy), and Lexence (a law and notary firm). On the 3rd, 6th, and 8th floors, we offer a wide selection of fresh, healthy, and sustainable meals. The 3rd floor also features a stylish espresso bar where guests can enjoy an exceptional cup of coffee. Each day, over 450 employees and visitors make use of our hospitality services.

We work exclusively with premium suppliers such as Lindenhoff, Vanille Ventura, and Food to Impress, allowing us to cook with the freshest, most honest, and flavorful ingredients. Our kitchen is fully artisanal-from sauces to pastries, everything is lovingly made in-house with care and passion.

Your team

At Infinity, we work with a relatively large team. Each person has their own area of expertise, which allows us to maintain a high level of service. You'll be joining a friendly and fairly junior team. The collaboration is great, even though we work on different floors of the building. If you ever have a question, there's always a colleague ready to help you!

Jouw functie

'Goedemorgen!' Je bent met het goede been uit bed gestapt en hebt zin om aan de slag te gaan. Als cateringmedewerker bij Infinity, Amsterdam maak je het restaurant 100% klaar voor een van de belangrijkste momenten van de dag. Je helpt bij het voorbereiden van alle gerechten en dranken waar jouw gasten op zitten te wachten.

Dan is het etenstijd. Je ontvangt de gasten op een gastvrije manier, zoals alleen jij dat kan. Hierdoor kan jij je dienstverlening personaliseren! En nog leuker; de gasten kennen jou inmiddels ook.

Na etenstijd ga je aan de slag met het opruimen en voorbereiden voor de rest van de dag en morgen. Verder maak je (vergaderende) mensen blij maken met een bakje koffie, tussendoortje of borrel. Door jouw vriendelijke service, is iedereen erg tevreden en kan jij met een voldaan gevoel naar huis.

Wat wij vragen - Het liefst heb je al wat horeca-ervaring, maar ook als aanstormend talent kun je bij ons terecht. Je voelt je in ieder geval thuis in de horeca;

• Dat werken in de horeca fysiek best pittig kan zijn weet je;
• Jij zet altijd net dat extra stapje. Vooral wat gastvrijheid en service betreft;
• Liefde gaat door de maag als het om eten & drinken gaat;
• Bij Vermaat zit veiligheid in het fundament. Onze gasten kunnen rekenen op een voedselveilige omgeving omdat jij het iedere dag serieus neemt;
• Je kan op verzoek een Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG) aanleveren.

Over de vacature

You want to work in hospitality, but on your terms. One week you’re at a beach venue, the next at an event or in a restaurant. You decide where you work, who you work with, and how much you work.

At The Keepers, you’re not part of a standard staffing pool. You’re part of a community of people who consciously choose hospitality and want to get better at it.

About the places

You’ll work at different locations across the Breda, Tilburg and Den Bosch region. Think restaurants, beach pavilions, event venues and private events. One shift might be casual, the next more high-end, or at a beach location you travel to together with colleagues.

You rarely work alone. Most of the time, you’re on shift with other Keepers. Together with the community manager, you decide which assignments suit you best.

The role

You’ll work as a flexible hospitality staff member in service, behind the bar or on catering assignments. You choose which shifts you take and how many hours you work — anywhere between 4 and 40 hours per week.

There’s a large variety of shifts available: daytime, evenings and nights, weekdays and weekends. You only pick what fits your schedule and preferences.

What will you do?

* Arrive on location and introduce yourself to the team

* Join a short briefing and start your shift

* Help guests during lunch, drinks, dinner or events

* Work together with other Keepers on the floor or behind the bar

* Close your shift and get your hours approved

Sometimes you travel together with colleagues in a The Keepers car to a location, for example a beach venue. In that case, 50% of your travel time is compensated.

You don’t need experience. We look at how you approach the work. You can also join weekly free training sessions where you’ll learn the job and improve your skills.

🔪 Prep Time! You kick off your day as a Catering Assistant with prep work. You chop vegetables for a fresh salad and spread delicious gourmet rolls. The aroma of freshly made soup fills the kitchen—it's enough to make your own mouth water!

🤝 Smile & Serve! Next up: service time! The guests are arriving. You stand behind the counter, greet everyone with a warm smile, and serve up the dishes. You are their first point of contact, so your friendliness is worth its weight in gold! You are helpful and make sure everyone thoroughly enjoys their break.

🧼 Spick & Span! In between, you keep everything looking fresh and tidy. You clear up, restock drinks, and ensure the workspace remains sparkling clean.

A workday like that sounds almost as delicious as the food you serve!

Where will you work
Albron handles the catering at the staff restaurant of the Van Loon Group in Son en Breugel, located on the Ekkersrijt industrial estate. This is where you will be working as a Catering Assistant!

Your shifts are from Monday through Friday. Shifts usually start around 3:00 PM / 4:00 PM, but you might occasionally work morning shifts as well. As for the weekends? Those are all yours to enjoy!

what will you do
As an event dishwasher, you work at the heart of event catering. During trade fairs and corporate events, you process thousands of glasses and plates at a fast pace. You operate professional dishwashers, sort incoming items, and clean kitchen tools for the chefs. You store clean dishware in the right places and maintain a clean kitchen following HACCP standards.
