Who you are
As a warehouse worker you do meet the following requirements:

• You live in the Zaandam area
• You can work in a refrigerated environment where the temperature is around 4 degrees
• You are at least 1.65m tall and you speak English
• You are at least 18 years old (due to safety regulations)
• You are physically fit enough to lift boxes up to 20 kilos
• You are available for the morning shift 07:00 a.m. - 03:30 p.m. (mandatory) and if you want also in the night shift 10:30 p.m. till 07:00 a.m.
• You have work experience in a warehouse
• You are available to work one weekend day: Friday night or Saturday morning

What will you do
As a warehouse worker, you work with a large team! Together, you ensure that all supermarket orders are ready for transport. 💪 You drive around in your own electric pallet truck (EPT), so you work nice and independently! You crisscross through the meters-long shelves and neatly collect the products. Thanks to the order picking system, you know exactly where to go and which products to grab. This allows you to collect all orders at a fast pace. 🚀 Occasionally, you will have to use your muscles to lift a box onto your pallet. That saves you a trip to the gym. Ideal, right?! 🤝

• Working the morning shift (mandatory) 07:00 - 15:30. You can combine this with the night shift Mon-Fri 23:00 - 07:00 (optional).

Where will you work
If you start working as a warehouse worker at Albert Heijn, you will be working in the distribution center. This is where all products are collected, after which they will be transported to the supermarkets. In terms of employment conditions, you are well-situated here as a warehouse employee. Wie ben jij
Als orderpicker is het belangrijk dat je minimaal 2 dag kan werken! Verder:

• Kun je tegen een beetje kou. Je gaat werken op de versafdeling
• Minimaal 1.65m
• Kun je in ieder geval 1 van de diensten werken: vrijdag nacht 22:30 - 7:00 of zaterdagochtend 7:00 - 15:30
• Je hebt al ervaring met werken in een magazijn
• Je bent fysiek fit om dozen tot 20 kilo te tillen

Wat ga je doen
Als orderpicker rijd je met een EPT door het magazijn. Op je EPT kun je 5 pallets plaatsen. Die ga je volzetten met dozen met etenswaren. Zo neem jij een doos bananen of uien mee. Je komt werkelijk van alles tegen! Door het orderpicksysteem weet jij precies waar je moet zijn en welke producten je moet pakken. Zo weet jij in een snel tempo alle orders te verzamelen. Af en toe zul jij je spierballen moet gebruiken. Dat scheelt je weer een bezoekje aan de sportschool. Ideaal toch?!

Waar ga je werken

What will you do
As a warehouse worker, you drive through the warehouse with an EPT. You will work with a voice-pick system. Those are headphones which gives you orders. 🗣️ You know exactly where you have to be and which products you have to pick. You will then drive with your EPT to the right place and pick the boxes with products. The boxes are filled with different products, for example bottles or bananas. Sometimes these boxes are up to 20 kilograms. Therefore you will need your muscles. 💪 That will save you a visit to the gym! You will lift the boxes on your pallet truck. Then you drive them to the loading area in the warehouse. Time flies by! 🚀
