who are you
We are looking for someone who has a problem-solving mindset. Who is able to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to business needs. You have good communication skills and affinity for purification.

  • You are a WO master student in biotechnology, bioprocess development, biochemistry;
  • You are available for the minimum of 6 months;
  • You can start as soon as possible;

what will you do
The Advanced Therapies API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) Process Development department designs and develops scalable manufacturing processes for a diverse panel of pharmaceutical products. Our work spans the full workflow from cell culture through downstream purification. We partner closely with our local pilot plant, to enable production of innovative therapies for clinical evaluation.

  • Use displacement chromatography to achieve high-resolution separation of biomolecules with small differences in affinity;
  • Develop a proof-of-concept application for potential implementation within large-scale production processes;
  • Design and execute experiments to effectively separate pharmaceutical biomolecules from impurities;
  • Evaluate alternative chromatography configurations, specifically focusing on Displacement Chromatography, to expand our technical toolbox.

who are you

what will you do
You will join our team that focusses on developing dashboarding for discrete processes used in Intra Ocular Lens (IOL) manufacturing for Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision in Groningen. Our Engineering team consists of 33 employees with background(s) in various engineering fields. The Engineering Department is responsible for maintaining and improving the production equipment and processes to efficiently manufacture IOLs using discrete processes. Project Manufacturing 2.0 is aiming to provide dashboarding of every process node for daily performance management. Therefore we are looking for a creative candidate with a background in control system engineering to help develop this dashboard. The project will be executed in a team where you will be part of.

  • Use Ignition to build a SCADA environment that can interface with equipment;

  • Translate functional requirement to a working architecture with sensors and interfaces with other databases or machine PLC’s;

wat ga je doen
Als Re-integratiebegeleider stap je in een professioneel team waar jij de regie pakt. Je werkt nauw samen met de manager Uitvoering en zit bovenop het re-integratieproces van onze cliënten. Jouw doel is simpel maar krachtig: cliënten weer volop laten meedoen in de maatschappij.
Je takenpakket bestaat onder andere uit:

  • signaleren en analyseren van de klantvraag. Deze vertalen naar concreet uitvoerbare acties;
  • beoordelen re-integratiemogelijkheden; Re-integratiemiddelen inzetten onder eindverantwoordelijkheid van de arbeidsdeskundige;
  • plannen en organiseren van alle activiteiten die nodig zijn voor een succesvolle dienstverlening aan klanten;
  • op methodische wijze problematieken in kaart brengen. Jij stimuleert en activeert ter realisering van de re-integratiedoelstellingen
  • Jij brengt met behulp van gesprekstechnieken en methodieken, zowel telefonisch als face to face, de cliënt in beweging;
  • jij onderhoudt contact met en informeert relevante interne en externe partijen zoals uitzendbureaus, re-integratiebureaus. Ook werkgevers en intern met de verschillende divisies.
  • Jij vormt samen met o.a. verzekeringsartsen, teamondersteuners en arbeidsdeskundigen een team in (de ontwikkeling naar) een Sociaal Medisch Centrum.

Bij de divisie Sociaal-medische zaken (SMZ) kijken we naar mogelijkheden. Wat kan iemand nog wél als hij of zij ziek is?
