Who you are

• You are 18 years or older due to safety and night shift regulations
• You have your own car to reach the location in Meppel
• You speak and understand the English or Dutch language
• You are available for at least 2 days a week
• You are physically able to lift packages and deal with roll containers

What will you do
As a warehouse employee you are the heartbeat of our logistic process. You load and unload trucks at a good pace. This gives a great feeling of accomplishment when the job is done. Together with your team, you will sort and scan every package. The parcels will reach the customers on time with your help. Because the shifts are 5.5 hours, you stay energized and the time flies by. Work done!

• Afternoon shift: Monday to Friday from 16:00 to 21:30
• Night shift: Tuesday to Saturday from 02:00 to 07:30

What will you do
Loading and unloading trucks! This is your main task as a logistic employee at DPD Meppel. You will also sort and scan individual packages. Because the packages are heavy, the work can occasionally be physically demanding. Of course you don't find this a problem. This you will be doing in the following shifts:

• Night shift: Tuesday until Saturday from 2 am to 7:30 am
• Afternoon shifts: Monday until Friday from 4 pm to 9:30 pm

Where will you work
You will be working at DPD's pleasant logistics center in Meppel. Here, you will work in an international team where the atmosphere always scores a solid 8+! Good to know: DPD is moving to Zwolle in November (although we might stay in Meppel). Do you have your own car? That's a nice plus for the future! But do you live nearby? You will receive allowances for working different shifts and for working in the cold store and freezer (allowance: cold store €0.56 and allowance: freezer €1.28 per hour).
