What will you do
As a delivery driver for Albert Heijn, you are the shopping carrier on wheels! Your working day starts by collecting the key and the route list at the collection desk. The first days, you will ride along with a buddy. You quickly grab some food from the refrigerator. Then it’s time to hit the road! You drive to the right addresses via your navigation. Once you get here, you scan the correct crates with groceries with a handheld scanner. You bring the groceries to the front door. You just need to complete the payment and then you're ready to go! Who you are
You are an enthusiastic driver who enjoys heading out on the road independently in a box truck. You are physically fit (lifting grocery crates weighing up to 22 kg is a great workout for you!), and your smile makes you the friendly face of the company at every front door.

• You have held your Category B driver's license for at least 6 months
• You speak fluent Dutch or English
• You have your own means of transportation to get to the starting location in Oud Gastel / Roosendaal region (difficult to reach by public transport)
• You are physically capable of lifting crates up to 22 kg and walking up stairs
• You are flexible and comfortable being called in on short notice (on the day itself: in the morning for the afternoon/evening shift, or in the afternoon for the next morning shift)

What will you do
As a Category B Delivery Driver, you will navigate smoothly through the region in a box truck. Shifts average between 6 and 6.5 hours. A typical workday looks like this:

• You start your shift at the depot in Oud Gastel, pick up your keys, and load the crates into your box truck
• You follow the navigation system to safely drive to customer addresses
• At the customer's location, you carry the grocery crates directly to the front door (or even inside to the kitchen!)
• You scan the order, process the payment using the handheld scanner, and collect any empty crates
• Your service and friendly attitude make for a positive customer experience, after which you return the vehicle in clean condition at the end of your route

Where will you work
You will be working for a leading e-commerce player in the e-grocery sector. The distribution center in Oud Gastel features a warm, informal work atmosphere with a down-to-earth local work ethic. Communication channels are short, colleagues readily assist one another, and there is always time for a laugh. Deliveries run during 13 shifts per week (with Sunday morning being the only exception!). Additionally, you can easily grow within the company or even obtain your heavy vehicle driver's license (Category C) free of charge!

You don't have to stay home for this, but it is important that the packages remain secure. You have until Monday at 7:00 PM to finish your deliveries.
