Wie ben jij
Als logistiek medewerker bij PostNL Waalwijk ben je:

• Nederlands of Engelstalig;
• 3 tot 5 dagen per week beschikbaar van maandag t/m zondag;
• Bereid om zware pakketten tot 20 kilo te tillen;
• In het bezit van eigen vervoer.

Wat ga je doen
Stroop je mouwen op en neem de regie over de lopende band bij PostNL! Samen met je team zorg je dat elk pakketje razendsnel de deur uitgaat. De sorteermachine doet het grove werk, maar jij bent de onmisbare schakel voor de laatste check. De pakketten glijden via de goten zo jouw kant op. Jij scant de postcodes en zet ze behendig in de juiste rolcontainer. Dankzij jouw scherpe oog krijgt iedereen in Nederland zijn pakketje op tijd.

• Vroege vogel of avondmens? Je werkt van maandag tot en met zondag, waarbij we de weekenden eerlijk verdelen in roulatie.
• Werk doordeweeks (ma t/m vr) tussen 09:00 en 19:30 uur. Je wisselt hierbij af tussen diensten van 09:00 - 17:30 uur en 10:00 - 19:30 uur.
• Ga je liever voor de late uurtjes? Dan knal je van 17:30 tot 02:30 uur.
• Vind je het fijn om af te wisselen? Een roulatie tussen middag- en avonddiensten is ook helemaal prima

Waar ga je werken
Het grote blauwe gebouw is bijna niet te missen van Bol. Hier zorg je er samen met veel andere collega’s voor dat alle pakketten gesorteerd worden. Het magazijn ligt aan de Pakketweg 2 in Waalwijk. Het magazijn ligt vlak bij de snelweg dus goed te bereiken met eigen vervoer. Om in aanmerking te komen voor deze baan, vragen wij je om het volgende: #baanraders

Who you are
To keep the warehouse running, it is important that you meet the following requirements as a warehouse worker:

• You speak either Dutch or English
• You’re available fulltime
• You can work in Waalwijk
• You have your own transport to get to Waalwijk
• You’re available for morning and afternoon shifts.

What will you do
Timing belts, brake pads, exhaust pipes. You know them all! As a warehouse worker, you’ll be responsible for collecting car parts and making sure everything gets where it needs to be. You’ll be part of an awesome team of 5 to 6 people – small, friendly and always good vibes!
From picking and packing to helping out with shipping – there’s lots of variety, so you’ll never have a dull day. You’ll work in 3 shifts (morning, afternoon, and night), so if you’re ready to hit the gas on your new career – we’re ready for you!

What will you do
What are you going to do?
When the packages come from the sorting machine and land into the slot, the packages must be placed in the correct roller container.

Raising packages: means that the appropriate packages must be properly placed on the sorting machine, with the bar-code upwards. The sorting machine reads the bar-code on the package and knows which slot the package should come down to. Some packages are not suitable for the sorting machine by the size or weight they have. You need to make sure that only appropriate packages are on the machine, otherwise it will lead to a malfunction.

As a LoLa employee (loading/unloading), you make sure that the trucks arriving at the depots during the evening are emptied. Often, these trucks contain rolling containers with packages and the rolling containers must be removed from the trucks. You need to put these containers in the right place so that a colleague can take care of the further process. At the end of the evening, the sorted packages need to be placed in the correct truck again. The packages can now go to the next depot.

Crossdock: This task consists of loading and unloading containers whose packages are already sorted but need to be placed in a different truck. These activities are physically heavy because only rolling containers are being used. Moreover, the work is mostly outside.
