who are you
As a logistics coordinator, you must meet the following requirements:

• you have experience in a managerial role within logistics (or a similar sector)
• you excel at planning and organizing
• you learn quickly how to work with new systems
• you are available full-time during the months of June, July, and August
• you are able to work with targets and deadlines
• you are available full-time for two-shift work

what will you do
As a logistics coordinator, you are responsible for the overall coordination of the logistics department. You know how to effectively manage team leaders and are focused on achieving the best results. You also ensure that all processes run smoothly. During the busy summer period you maintain a clear overview. You are comfortable working with targets and will ensure that the departments perform at their best. Are you a results-oriented and experienced leader? Are you able to handle stress and maintain a clear overview in a dynamic work environment?

Your responsibilities will include:

• managing and coaching team leaders
• monitoring progress and ensuring that set goals are met
• resolving bottlenecks and responding quickly to operational challenges
• ensuring an efficient and structured logistics workflow
• ensuring safety in the workplace
• motivating and supporting your team to maximize productivity

where will you work
At VanDijk, you’ll be working in the warehouse of one of the largest schoolbook suppliers in the Netherlands. All schoolbooks for high school students are shipped from Kampen.

There’s a large terrace where you can relax in the sun during your break. There’s also a cafeteria with delicious sandwiches. Transportation? Taken care of! A free bus runs to and from Kampen. And the best part is that you’ll get to meet lots of new people along the way!
