Who you are
As an Accounting Specialist, you possess a sharp numerical acumen, operate with flawless precision, and naturally identify opportunities for process optimization. You are a collaborative professional who communicates seamlessly within a multicultural corporate setting.

• Hold an MBO+ or HBO (higher vocational) degree, complemented by relevant experience in financial administration.
• Possess professional business fluency in written and spoken English; conversational proficiency in Dutch is fully sufficient.
• Prior experience with SAP (ideally operating as a key user) is distinctively advantageous.
• Familiarity with NL GAAP, US GAAP, VAT regulations, and SOX compliance is considered a strong plus, though not a mandatory prerequisite.
• You need to live within travel distance of Kruiningen already and be eligible to work in the Netherlands.

What will you do
In this position, you will serve as a vital contributor to the financial integrity of our EMEA entities. You will manage diverse daily financial operations, interface directly with IT, and spearhead robust financial reporting and closing procedures.

• Overseeing accurate and timely financial accounting processes for multiple EMEA entities.
• Driving month-end and year-end closing activities, including financial reporting and consolidations.
• Preparing comprehensive VAT, statistical, and customs filings across various jurisdictions.
• Executing balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany accounts, and external audit preparation.
• Functioning as a SAP key user to support system management and optimize ongoing workflows.

You will join Lamb Weston EMEA, a global industry leader and pioneer in frozen potato specialties. From our headquarters in the Netherlands, we oversee all EMEA financial operations. You will integrate into a broader finance department of 25 professionals, working directly within a focused, high-performing team of 7 colleagues.
