As a warehouse associate, you must meet the following requirements:

• you are available this summer between weeks 28 and 35
• you are available to work 24–40 hours per week on a two-shift schedule
• you are physically fit; lifting and stacking boxes is no problem for you
• you are at least 16 years old
• you are available for at least 3 weeks between weeks 28 and 35

what will you do
So what does a typical workday look like for a warehouse associate at VanDijk in Kampen? The shift starts with the team. The team leader goes over the plan for the day. One day, you might be working at the packing table, preparing packages for shipment. The next day, you might need a handheld scanner to gather the right books in the warehouse. There’s plenty of movement all day long. So that workout is already in the bag by the end of the day!

The work is done in a two-shift system. One week there’s a morning shift from 7:00 AM to 2:45 PM. After that, there’s plenty of time for your own plans in the afternoon. The following week, there’s an afternoon shift from 3:00 PM to 10:45 PM. This makes this temporary job perfect for balancing with a social life. And there’s plenty of time left over for fun things! 🚀

where will you work
At VanDijk, you’ll be working in the warehouse of one of the largest schoolbook suppliers in the Netherlands. All schoolbooks for high school students are shipped from Kampen.

There’s a large terrace where you can relax in the sun during your break. There’s also a cafeteria with delicious sandwiches. Transportation? Taken care of! A free bus runs to and from Kampen. And the best part is that you’ll get to meet lots of new people along the way!

Between weeks 28 and 35, you’ll work on a flexible shift schedule, which is ideal for your free time. The following week, you’ll work the afternoon shift from 3:00 PM to 10:45 PM, giving you the freedom to sleep in or start your day at a leisurely pace in the morning. LKQ Van Esch is looking for a full time production employee. At LKQ you will help produce paints for some of the most famous car brands.

• be able to see color clearly

what will you do
As a production worker at LKQ Van Esch, you are responsible for mixing the right color paint for different car parts. You do this by following a recipe that tells you how many grams of pigments to add to the paint. So it's important you are precise and reliable! When the pigments are all in, you put the can of paint in the mixer. Watch out: these cans can be heavy! But of course you don't have to lift them all day long. After the mixing, you check if the color came out correctly. Then you and your colleagues move on to the next color, with a different recipe. LKQ mixes 300.000 litres of paint a year, so there is never a dull moment!

Together with a friendly team, you’ll keep the machine running: you’ll refill bins, empty them on time, and ensure every product ends up in the right place. Roll up your sleeves and join our team!
You’ll work with a fun and friendly team and plan your own routes. The work hours are from 11:15 AM to 4:15 PM
