About the job

As a Warehouse Worker, you start your shift with a short handover, grab a coffee, and get to work. You make sure companies get the right products, on time and in perfect condition.

A typical workday as a Warehouse Worker looks like this:

• You collect orders using an electric pallet truck and check everything carefully;
• You receive incoming goods and place them in the warehouse;
• You prepare orders for shipment so drivers can leave on time;
• You keep the warehouse clean and safe;
• If you want, you can learn to work with a forklift or reach truck!

You work in two shifts:

• Morning shift: 06:00 - 15:00;
• Afternoon shift: 15:00 - 00:00.

You only work on weekdays, so your weekends are free!

Having your OWN transport to the location is mandatory. Public transport is not an option.

Are you an early bird with tons of energy? Become a part-time warehouse worker at FedEx at Schiphol Airport and make sure all packages get airborne on time! As a warehouse worker, you are a crucial link in the logistics process. Without you, no flight would be on time!

• Sort and scan all incoming packages using a scanner;
• Move packages to the correct locations in the warehouse;
• Help load and unload trucks;

Practical information

You will work part-time in the mornings, which is ideal for combining with studies or other commitments. Working days are Monday to Friday from 5 am to 10 am. In the role of Expedition Worker, you manage the flow of goods entering and leaving the warehouse. From 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday, you operate equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet trucks to unload incoming trucks and position freight correctly. You check shipments against paperwork and ensure outbound cargo is loaded efficiently. English is used for daily communication across the shop floor.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Loading and unloading freight trucks using EPT and forklift
• Checking arriving cargo against documentation
• Transporting goods to designated storage zones
• Preparing and wrapping outbound pallets
• Assisting with internal stock movement
• Maintaining safe operational standards in the expedition zone

We are looking for

• Functional proficiency in English
• Practical experience driving forklifts and EPTs
• Availability for daytime shifts (Mon-Fri, 08:00 - 17:00)
• Capability to perform manual and machine-assisted logistics work
