Who you are

What will you do

As a logistic employee you are going to pick orders in the warehouse. You will work with a voice pick system. Through your headphones you are told which orders you have to collect and where to find them. In this way, you gather all orders together so that the shops receive their products on time. You will work with products from Nestlé, Pepsico and Red Bull. You will work with an EPT. No experience with EPT? No problem at all. Your buddy will show you around on the EPT and on the work floor. Your buddy will guide you 1 on 1 during training. This way, you will know how to find everything in the company in no time. When you find your order you are going to lift these boxes on your pallet truck. These can weight up to 20 kg. Therefore you need to use your muscles. Time flies by!

Who you are

You’re a detail-oriented person who works with precision. You’re eager to learn, but it’s important that you have a technical background. Additionally, as a trainee operator you are:

  • Fluent in Dutch or English
  • In possession of your own transport to get to PostNL Nieuwegein SKP
  • Able to apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG)
What will you do

As a trainee operator, you’ll be mainly responsible for operating the machinery at PostNL SKP. You’ll assist in troubleshooting errors and ensure the work environment stays clean and organized. You’ll also provide instructions to your teammates so they stay up to date on how to use the machines properly. In other words: you play a key role in keeping the machines running — and the parcels flowing to customers on time!
You’ll begin with an in-house training, provided by one of your future colleagues. This is where you’ll learn everything you need to know about the operator role at PostNL SKP. Successfully complete your training? Then you’ll officially become a machine lead at PostNL — with a well-deserved salary increase!

  • Workdays: Monday to Friday and Sunday

Where will you work

At PostNL Nieuwegein SKP, one of the most advanced depots in the Netherlands. The sorting robots will be your new coworkers! PostNL Nieuwegein SKP is part of Tempo-Team Performance Management (#TTPM), which takes full responsibility for its clients’ processes — using their own teams and supervisors. The warehouse is located in the “Het Klooster” industrial zone, near the A27 highway. So it’s easily accessible by car — which is a must, especially given the working hours.

wat ga je doen

Als allround warehouse operator met reachtruckcertificaat heb je een afwisselende werkdag. Je begint bijvoorbeeld met het verplaatsen van pallets met de reachtruck naar de juiste locaties in het magazijn. Daarna help je bij het picken van orders via het pick-to-light systeem, verwerk je retouren of maak je goederen verzendklaar. Je werkt met scanners, computers en moderne hulpmiddelen, en ondersteunt ook bij laden en lossen. Tijdens je werk let je altijd goed op veiligheid en orde op de werkvloer. Je werkt nauw samen met collega’s en springt bij waar nodig.

what will you do

As a reachtruck driver, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth running of warehouse operations. You will use the reachtruck to pick orders for customers and ensure new deliveries are neatly stored. As a reachtruck driver, you will work in a warehouse with narrow aisles and effortlessly place pallets at great heights.

  • You neatly place new items in the correct places on the shelves;
  • You collect customer orders;
  • You always follow safety regulations.
where will you work

Base Logistics in Moerdijk is a quiet warehouse. There is a good work atmosphere at Base Logistics. It is a smaller warehouse where the team leaders know everyone by name. Base Logistics has enough work all year round. So you are assured of work for a long time! The team leaders speak Dutch, but the working language in the warehouse is English. The warehouse consists of two separate halls that are next to each other. Both halls together process the orders of approximately 30 different customers including Cisco and Wahoo.
