Working in a modern cleanroom environment, you'll inspect precision components and complex assemblies used in advanced industrial systems. Your expertise helps guarantee that customers receive products they can rely on.What you will do: Inspecting components and assembled products before shipment; Performing dimensional inspections using technical drawings and specifications; Measuring products with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment; Identifying deviations and documenting non-conformities; Preparing inspection reports and quality documentation; Releasing products that fully meet quality requirements; Working closely with production and assembly teams to resolve quality issues; Contributing ideas to improve inspection and manufacturing processes. This is a hands-on technical position on the production floor of a hightech company and not a laboratory role. who are you
As a Warehouse Specialist, you possess the following qualifications:

• You have at least 2 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, and inventory control
• You are available for a minimum of 40 hours per week
• You have working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems
• You speak English (due to the international team)
• You are willing to work at the Maasvlakte
• You hold a valid forklift certificate, or are willing to obtain one in the short term

what will you do
In this role, you are the key linchpin in the warehouse, responsible for the entire process from receiving, storage, and inventory control to distributing materials to the project team. You are proactive, work with high precision, possess strong administrative skills, and know how to keep your cool on a busy project site.

• Receiving, checking, unloading, and processing materials and equipment
• Accurately recording all goods movements and transactions in SAP/ERP and Excel
• Conducting inventory counts, monitoring stock levels, and driving material availability
• Coordinating deliveries to on-site installation teams and operating the forklift
• Ensuring and enforcing strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines, as well as keeping the storage area clean and organized
• Liaising with suppliers, project managers, site engineers, and quality inspectors

where will you work
You will be working at ABB, a global technology leader in electrification and automation. ABB is building a more sustainable and efficient future and is at the forefront of the energy transition.

For this specific project, you will be based directly on-site at the Maasvlakte. Here, you will work right in the middle of the dynamic environment of a large-scale container terminal electrification project. You will be part of an international, driven team where English is the primary language spoken. No two days are the same at this impressive port-side location, where innovation and technical progress are put into practice daily.
