Looking for an easy-going night shift with a bit more action during the day? That’s you as a shuttle driver (Shunter) with a T license. Thinking “T”? Yes, if you got your B license before July 2015, you automatically received it. No experience yet? No worries at all! Kuehne + Nagel will train you, and you’ll pick up the job in no time.
What we offerDo you have the following?
You will be trained by an experienced driver. Step by step, you will get to know the distribution center. There are two locations between which you will shuttle. The truck moves from hall A to hall B. You are the link between these two sites. During the day, it is a bit busier and you handle assignment after assignment. At night, you may even have some time to help out in the warehouse. That makes your job very varied, right?
Where will you workThe friendly company you will be working for is Kuehne + Nagel. It is a worldwide transport and logistics company. In Tilburg, you will be working with several major clients. Ready for action? As a driver at DPD in Oirschot, you are the key to keeping our depot running. You'll move loads with speed and skill, ensuring our entire sorting process runs like a well-oiled machine.
What we offerWhat does it take to be a driver at DPD?
You will work in a shift system with the following hours:
Day shift: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM (13:00 - 21:30)
Night shift: 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM (21:30 - 06:00)
DPD processes over 100,000 packages daily, which are delivered to our depots, sorted, and prepared for distribution. As a shunting driver, you play a key role in this. You ensure that the loads at the depot in Best are moved quickly and efficiently between the various sorting and loading points.
