Who you are
As a warehouse worker, you are a true go-getter! You love a physical challenge and working at a high pace. To keep the sorting process running like clockwork, you meet the following criteria:

• You are available to work 24, 32, or 40 hours per week
• You can work the morning shift (06:00 - 15:00) or evening shift (15:30 - 00:30)
• You have your own transport to commute to our location in Breda
• You can communicate effectively in English or Dutch
• You are capable of handling physical warehouse work such as lifting packages up to 20 kg

What will you do
As a warehouse worker, you are the driving force behind thousands of packages finding their way to destinations across Europe. Every day brings new energy! Together with an enthusiastic international team, you manage the internal flow smoothly. Easy peasy! 🚚

Your daily tasks:

• Unloading containers and placing incoming goods onto high-tech sorting platforms
• Checking parcel labels and zip codes accurately to maintain high speed
• Loading transport containers safely and keeping the workspace organized together

• you can work well with numbers
• you are meticulous in your work and are good at solving problems

what will you do
No day is the same! You work in different teams and pick up all kinds of tasks. In the morning, for example, you check whether the stock is in the right place in the warehouse. After the break, you fix mistakes made during order picking. And before your shift is over, you check some large orders before they go out the door. In short: you keep the logistics processes running smoothly and solve small and large challenges independently. Is everything running smoothly and are fewer checks needed? Then you just jump in to help your colleagues with order picking!

🔄 Work in shifts:
From week 31 through week 34, you will work shifts. Week 35 will be a day shift. One week you will start early and the other week you will sleep in before you start! That way you'll have plenty of time to do fun things! #holidaywork

At VanDijk you will work in the warehouse of one of the largest schoolbook suppliers in the Netherlands. From Kampen all textbooks for high school students are shipped.

There is a large terrace where you can chill in the sun during breaks and a canteen with tasty sandwiches. Transportation? Settled! A free bus goes to and from Kampen. And the best part is that you will meet new people!
