To get started as a logistics employee, you do not need experience. But the following is important:

• You want to work full-time
• You are willing to work in 2 shifts
• You speak English
• You have experience with the EPT or are willing to learn it
• You have at least 6 months experience in warehouse
• You are physically fit

what will you do
You are the crucial link on the specialized Metso department at CEVA Logistics. This is physical work. You are the expert in charge of order picking heavy components. These range from small, specialized parts right up to the biggest pieces. You drive the flow of the warehouse!

Your key responsibility is to deal with the logistics process from start to finish. You use the EPT or forklift to efficiently load and unload all incoming and outgoing shipments. Also, you ensure all components are expertly packed and secured for transport, guaranteeing quality control to the finish line.

• Important to know about this vacancy is that you will lift heavy. The products are weighing up to 25 kilos.
• Working hours in 2 shifts are from 06:00 - 15:00 and 15:00 - 00:00

The client of Ceva at his location is called Metso. Metso makes large machines that are used in the mining industry. At the warehouse of Ceva in Born all these spare parts are stored. wat ga je doen
Als Magazijnmedewerker ben jij de krachtpatser op de Metso-afdeling van CEVA Logistics. Jouw spierballen worden hier niet vergeten. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het orderpicken van zware componenten, van minuscule onderdelen tot de gigantische stukken.

Daarnaast ben je de baas over de lading. Je gebruikt de EPT of heftruck voor het laden en lossen van alle zendingen. Soms pak je de componenten ook vakkundig in. Kortom: een afwisselende functie waarin je jouw logistieke en rij-vaardigheden optimaal benut.

Deze klant van Ceva heet Metso. Metso maakt grote machines die men gebruikt in de mijnbouwindustrie. In het magazijn van Ceva in Born worden al deze reserveonderdelen opgeslagen. Sommige onderdelen zijn klein, andere groot en zwaar. Het is belangrijk dat je als magazijnmedewerker in staat bent om zware lasten te tillen. Omdat de onderdelen zo verschillend zijn, moet je ook creatief kunnen denken. De processen lijken op die van andere logistieke bedrijven, maar hoe je het doet kan best een uitdaging zijn!
