To get started as an industrial sewer at Ahrend, you recognize yourself in the following:

• You have extensive experience with stitching fabric with an industrial sewing machine.
• You are open to being trained to learn more about the profession.
• You speak the Dutch or English language.
• You are in possession of your own transportation (car, bicycle, scooter).
• You can work in day shift.

Ahrend's upholstery shop consists of various departments. As an industrial sewer, you are responsible for stitching fabric for the furniture industry. These can be fabrics for chairs but also partition walls. You set up the sewing machine, you work according to drawings and you identify deviations. You also collect and check the fabrics and apply haberdashery. This includes zippers, click strips, drawstrings and piping.
