As a truck driver at PostNL, you play a crucial role in picking up, transporting, and delivering roll containers full of letters and parcels. With a modern PostNL truck, you primarily drive within the Netherlands, but also through parts of Belgium and Germany. Thanks to your dedication, our parcels and letters always arrive on time for our customers.
At PostNL, you can work both full-time and part-time. You mainly work in the evenings and nights, but daytime shifts are also possible. Of course, you will receive your work schedule in advance. At most PostNL locations, assistance is available for loading and unloading.

Start your day with a smile and a fresh cup of coffee at 6:00 AM. It is the perfect moment to catch up with colleagues before the action begins. First on the agenda: loading your box truck. Once your truck is packed and ready, it is time to hit the road. Most of your route consists of familiar faces and fixed addresses, allowing you to drive with confidence and efficiency. To keep things exciting, we always mix in a few new customers to challenge your navigation skills and brighten your day. Our diverse client base means you will be visiting everyone from friendly local residents to impressive multinationals, giving you a unique look behind the scenes at many different locations.
After a productive day of deliveries, you will head back to the depot. You will wrap up by parking your vehicle neatly, ensuring you are all set for another successful departure the following morning. what we offerAt PostNL, there's an open atmosphere where you’ll feel right at home—enjoyable, isn’t it? During your work, you’ll visit various PostNL customers and depots daily. At each location, you’ll meet your colleagues and have a friendly chat. While loading and unloading, you’ll help where needed, but there’s always support. This makes the job relatively light— isn’t that sweet?
Your shift starts at a different time each week. One week, you might work during the day, and the next week at night. If you have a preference for either day or night shifts, we arrange this in consultation. During the day, you'll visit various customers to pick up loads or deliver packaging. At night, you'll mainly drive between distribution centers. Assistance is available, making the work more enjoyable.
At PostNL you are in charge of transport and the delivery of roll containers with letters and parcels. You’ll do this with a well-maintained, modern truck that is no more than 3 years old. You have a key role in the supply chain. PostNL ensures that every day, they deliver 600,000 parcels and 10 million letters to customers on time.
