Your duties will include:

• Lifting and stacking boxes on pallets
• Handling materials and tools such as knives and cutters safely
• Carefully packing ready-made salads according to guidelines

The warehouse is open 6 days a week, so flexibility is important. There are 3 shifts:

• Morning: 06:00/08:00 to 15:00/17:00
• Afternoon: 14:00 to 23:00
• Night: 21:00 to 05:00

Als Starter Magazijnmedewerker Goederenontvangst ben jij de spil in het logistieke proces van verse aardappelen, groenten en fruit. Je zorgt dat alle verpakkingsmaterialen op de juiste plek in het magazijn aanwezig zijn en bestelt deze op tijd voor verschillende afdelingen. Je ontvangt vrachtwagens met goederen, laadt en lost deze met een elektrische pompwagen, en plaatst alles op de juiste plekken in de koelopslag. Administratief verwerk je de inkomende goederen direct in het systeem, zodat alles klopt. Je houdt het magazijn schoon en geordend, zodat iedereen prettig en veilig kan werken. Je werkt samen met collega’s in een frisse, gekoelde werkomgeving. De werkdagen zijn doordeweeks, je werkt in twee verschillende diensten tussen 6.00 en 19.00 uur, zodat je ook nog van je vrije tijd kunt genieten.

who are you
To keep the warehouse running smoothly, as a warehouse employee, it’s important that you meet the following requirements:

• you are 18 years or older;
• you are willing to work in Ridderkerk;
• you have your own transportation to get to work on time;
• you speak Dutch or English;
• you are available for at least 3 months;
• you are available for a minimum of 16 hours per week;
• you are available to work at least one weekend day on 3 out of 4 weekends each month.

what will you do
As a warehouse employee, you carefully collect customers’ groceries in the distribution center. You'll be on your feet all day, on average, you’ll walk about 15 kilometers per shift! You’ll also regularly lift crates weighing up to 20 kilos. No need for the gym after a day at work! You’ll occasionally be working in our chilled area, which is around 4 degrees Celsius. But don’t worry, we provide warm gloves and a hat to keep you comfortable. This way, you stay active and warm!

Working hours 🕒:
Monday to Sunday: shifts from 06:00–15:00 & 15:00–00:00
On weekdays, we also offer “student shifts” from 18:00–00:00

where will you work
You’ll be working in a large, modern distribution center with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The team is international and made up of people from different ages and backgrounds. While hard work is part of the job, there’s always room for fun and connection. You’ll also enjoy free hot meals every day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Fun events are regularly organized, including an annual summer party.
