As a CNC Turner, you are responsible for the complete machining process of your products. Accuracy is important, but so is your ability to think along and solve technical challenges. Your responsibilities include: - Setting up and operating CNC lathes;

• Programming and adjusting CNC programmes;
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings;
• Selecting and setting cutting tools;
• Checking dimensions and tolerances using measuring equipment;
• Performing quality checks during production;
• Identifying and correcting deviations;
• Optimising programmes and machining processes;
• Thinking along about improvements in efficiency, quality and production;
• Keeping your machine and workplace clean and safe.

You won't simply be operating a machine. Your technical knowledge and judgement are an important part of the production process. You work full-time in a 2-shift schedule:
Morning: 06:00 – 14:30

Over de vacature

Als CNC Laser Snijder in de staalbewerking bedien en onderhoud je als Machine Operator verschillende geavanceerde lasersnijmachine. Je stelt de machines in volgens werkopdracht, voert materialen aan en zorgt voor een nauwkeurige kwaliteitscontrole van het gesneden en gezette plaat-, koker- of buismateriaal. In deze functie leer je het vak volledig in de praktijk, waarbij ervaren collega’s je stap voor stap begeleiden. Uiteraard helpt het als je ervaring hebt in de metaal of in de productie als bediener van machines. Heb je eerder gewerkt met bovenstaande CNC machines? Dan kun je uiteraard ook reageren.

Werkzaamheden

• Instellen, ombouwen en bedienen van lasersnijmachines.
• Zorgen voor een tijdige aanvoer van materialen naar de machines.
• Controleren van de kwaliteit van de afgewerkte eindproducten.
• Signaleren, melden en verhelpen van kleine machinestoringen.
• Uitvoeren van klein en periodiek onderhoud aan het machinepark.
• Schoonhouden en ordelijk houden van de eigen werkplek.
• Uitvoeren van interne logistieke werkzaamheden, onder andere op de heftruck.

Wij zoeken

• Motivatie om het vak in de praktijk te leren
• Basiservaring als bijvoorbeeld lasser, constructiebankwerker, assemblage medewerker of machine operator is zeker handig maar niet vereist.
• Mbo werk- en denkniveau, een diploma is dus niet vereist.
• Technisch inzicht, verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en oog voor detail.
• Bereidheid om nauwkeurig te werken met je handen.
• Een heftruckcertificaat is mooi meegenomen, maar geen harde eis.

Functie-inhoud

• Als Machine Operator ben je verantwoordelijk voor de werking en beschikbaarheid van de productielijnen;
• Als Machine Operator stel je verpakkingsmachines juist af en voer je ombouw- en instelwerkzaamheden uit om de lijn snel en veilig te laten draaien;
• Je bedient en monitort productieapparatuur en controleert procesparameters tijdens de productie;
