what will you do
Your day starts early (between 01:00 and 04:00) at the Zaandam distribution center. After a coffee with your colleagues, you’ll head out to deliver groceries to various stores.

• deliveries: ensuring timely and safe arrival of goods
• interaction: acting as the face of the company during store deliveries
• logistics: managing returnable packaging and empties back to the DC
• flexibility: while your main schedule is Monday–Friday, Saturday shifts or part-time options (1+ days) are always negotiable.

who are you
Are you a flexible, responsible driver, with a CE-license? Experience in driving a trailer? Do you live in the Netherlands, speak English or Dutch and do you like to work independently? We are looking for you!

• you have a European Union CE-driving license with a valid code 95
• and a digital tachograph card
• you speak English, a bit of Dutch would be nice but isn't necessary
• you live in the Netherlands (and have a social security number)
• you're also available during the weekends
• you're flexible, stress resistant, representative and physically fit

what will you do
You’ll drive a tractor-trailer from the warehouse to the stores. Off course you won't only drive on the highway. You also end up in the middle of busy city centers. It's your challenge to keep cool in any situation. You will work approximately 10-12 hours per day, split into 2 to 3 separate trips. You’ll start between 3:00 and 6:00 in the morning. At Jumbo you can work both full-time or part-time. As the weekends are very busy you need to work at least 2 out of 4 Saturdays or Sundays per month.

At the Jumbo warehouses help is available for loading and unloading. At the supermarkets you are in charge of unloading & loading returns. Jumbo is known for its excellent equipment. So they are looking for drivers who are both responsible and representative.

where will you work
With 585 stores and 3 million daily customers Jumbo is one of the biggest supermarkets in the Netherlands. As a Jumbo truck driver you will be responsible for transporting goods to various stores around the country. It’s a varied job in which you spend lots of time on the road. • a good wage. Depending on your experience, you will receive between 16,84 and 20,24 gross per hour.
• on top of that you will receive supplements for overtime, irregular hours, weekend work etc.

• Once on the road, you deliver packages to approximately 35 to 60 addresses per day
• Working hours are: Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 22:00
• Overtime pay if you work more than 40 hours per week
• You deliver all orders safely and damage-free to the correct address
• You are the friendly face at the door and ensure a positive experience.
