As a Reach Truck Driver at Nedcargo Soesterberg, you play a crucial role in keeping warehouse operations efficient and safe. This hands-on logistics position puts you in the middle of the action, moving and storing Remia products like ketchup, mayonnaise, cooking oils, and margarine. You’ll place pallets in their designated spots and carefully check goods for any irregularities. Keeping your workspace organized and reporting any issues are also key parts of your day. You’ll work in a clean, modern warehouse with clear safety procedures and a supportive team.

Main responsibilities include:

• Moving, storing, and delivering goods throughout the warehouse
• Checking pallets for damage or discrepancies
• Reporting irregularities and keeping records up to date
• Keeping your work area clean and organized

You work five days per week in a rotating 3-shift system: 5:00 AM–2:00 PM, 2:15 PM–11:15 PM, and 7:00 PM–5:00 AM. Your shift schedule is always known in advance.

• Valid reach truck certificate
• At least high school (VMBO) level of working and thinking
• From 0 to 1 year of experience as a reach truck operator, warehouse worker, or logistician
• Ability to communicate in Dutch or English
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system

Who you are

• You are also available to work in 2 shifts or only the morning/ evening shift.
• You possess your own transportation to come to Almelo
• You speak the English or Dutch language
• You can work at least 32 ours per week.

What will you do
A warehouse worker is multipurpose! Getting Timberland clothes and shoes out of trucks or loading them in? No problem, you fix that without effort! Picking orders? Piece of cake for you. All you have to do is stand behind your station and process the orders from there. Ha, easy! What's next? Continue to grow, of course! Are you doing well? Then maybe you will move on to Quality Control or the VAS department! More interested in driving around on a forklift truck? That is also possible! Timberland likes to train you for free. The working times are in early shifts from 06:00 - 15:00. It's also possible for you to work in 2-shifts: 06:00 - 15:00/ 15:00 - 00:00. Or are you a real night owl? In that case, you can also work evening shifts only!

What will you do
Imagine this: you’re walking between the flowers, carts full with color and nice scents. 🤩 Every minute something is happening! Every day, thousands flowers and plants leave the Royal FloraHolland warehouse. During this side job you make sure that everything keeps going well!
Your colleagues drive their carts towards you. You scan the flowers that are on your list and place them in the right location. Got the hang of it? Then you learn how to drive on one of those carts yourself!

You’ll only work the morning shifts. So good! Your workday starts at 05:45h and you finish between 09:30h and 12:00h. Some days you’ll work a few more hours than others. But always between the 4 and 7 hours per day! Monday is the busiest day. It’s important that you can work that day for sure!

Where will you work
You’ll be working at the world’s largest flower auction site! Yes, really! That’s how massive the warehouse in Naaldwijk is. As a warehouse worker, you will find your way around in no time though. Within weeks you’ll be driving like a pro past all the beautiful flowers! 🌷
