Your role as a Delivery Driver

• Start at the hub: load crates into your van, check your route & battery
• Deliver to 15-18 addresses per 3-hour shift, usually within a 10 km radius
• Help customers with questions; you are the face of Picnic in the neighborhood
• Drive back and finish your route, hand in your van, and grab a well-deserved snack

Your profile

• Valid driver's license (Category B) and at least 18 years old
• Positive energy, customer-oriented, and responsible
• Available 16-40 hours per week, including regular evening or weekend shifts
• Fit enough to walk a lot and lift boxes

Working hours - you choose

• Morning: 07:00-10:30 or 10:00-12:30 (location dependent)
• Afternoon/Evening: 14:00-16:45 | 16:45-19:30 | 19:30-22:30

Claim your shifts weekly in the app (super flexible as a side job!). Can't make it after all? Swap with a colleague up to 24 hours in advance. We only ask for 6 fixed availability slots per week – you decide which ones.

Who you are
As an Albert Heijn driver, you deliver groceries to people’s homes using a small truck. Grocery crates can weigh up to fifteen kilos and you’ll often get in and out of the truck. No problem for you! You also:

• Have a B driver’s license;
• You Speak Dutch or English;
• You have transport to get to the AH HSC in Eindhoven.

What will you do
As an Albert Heijn driver, you will start your day at the HSC in Eindhoven. Here, you get your route and load the van full of groceries. Music on and on your way to your first address! Today, you will be driving in a city environment. This means a bit more crowds on the road and narrow streets. Luckily you are a good driver and always stay relaxed. At the first address, you unload all the groceries from the box truck. Your hand scanner (Zebra) indicates exactly which crates you need. You place them one by one on your trolley, so you don't have to lift as much. Then you ring the bell and deliver the groceries neatly. Just a quick check that the payment has already been made. Is that not the case? Then simply arrange this with the mobile pin. Afterwards, you say goodbye in a friendly manner and move on to the next address.

• Flexible hours from 06:00–14:00 or 14:00–23:00. You’re available for both shifts.
• You can work part-time or full-time from Monday to Sunday, with at least two Saturdays per month.

Where will you work
Start your day as an Albert Heijn driver at De Keten 15 in Eindhoven. It’s easily accessible by car, bike, or scooter. AH Online offers flexible shifts and personal growth opportunities. Such as becoming a buddy or plusser. You’re well taken care of too. Enjoy free fruit during your ride and a tasty meal for evening shifts. Always nice!
After 13 weeks of work, your salary increases to €18.83 per hour! This includes 25 vacation days, holiday pay, ADV allowance, and a year-end bonus. There are also plenty of opportunities for growth. Who knows, in a year, you might be training your new colleagues!

• You have your own transportation to get to Heyderweg 2-6 in Leiden.
• You hold a valid category B driver's license.

Fortunately, you are well-prepared during your onboarding period and you know how to keep a cool head! There are also plenty of opportunities to grow. For instance, you can quickly start working as a buddy, guiding and training new employees. Or you can become a plusser, making sure every driver hits the road fully equipped with all the essentials.

• Flexible hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM (availability for both shifts is required).

Geen zorgen: er is altijd een bellijn beschikbaar om contact op te nemen. Bij terugkomst van je rit staat er een teamleider klaar om je te helpen. Ook is er een Tempo-Team-kantoor op locatie waar je altijd even binnen kunt lopen. Wel zo fijn! Als dank voor je inzet worden er regelmatig lekkere dingen uitgedeeld. De werklocatie van AH Online is daarnaast makkelijk bereikbaar met eigen vervoer.
