who are you
As a logistics coordinator, you meet the following requirements:

• you have experience in a managerial role within logistics (or a similar sector)
• you excel at planning and organizing
• you learn quickly how to work with new systems
• you are available full-time during the months of June, July, and August
• you are able to work with targets and deadlines
• you are available full-time for two-shift work

what will you do
As a logistics coordinator, you are responsible for the overall coordination of the logistics department. You effectively manage team leaders and work together in a focused manner to achieve the best results. You also ensure that all processes run smoothly. During the busy summer period you maintain an overview. Working with targets is no problem for you! You ensure that the departments perform optimally.

Are you a results-oriented and experienced leader? Are you stress-resistant and able to maintain an excellent overview in a dynamic work environment?

Your tasks will consist of:

• monitoring progress and achieving set objectives
• resolving bottlenecks and responding quickly to operational challenges
• ensuring an efficient and structured logistics workflow
• ensuring safety in the workplace
• managing and coaching team leaders
• motivating and supporting your team for maximum productivity

where will you work
At VanDijk, you will be working in the warehouse of one of the largest schoolbook suppliers in the Netherlands. All schoolbooks for secondary school students are shipped from Kampen.

There is a large terrace where you can chill out in the sun during your break. There is also a canteen serving tasty sandwiches. Transportation? Taken care of! There is a free bus to and from Kampen. And the best part is that you get to meet lots of new people!
