what we offerYou can start driving once you have the following things in order:
As a driver, you will supply Jumbo supermarkets with groceries. You ensure that everything arrives neat and on time at the stores and also take care of the truck you are assigned. You will drive on highways as well as in busier parts of cities, staying calm in these situations. In a day, you typically make 2 to 3 trips to supermarkets. It often means starting early and finishing around 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM! Want to go home earlier once in a while? No problem! We are flexible and consider your needs in everything.
Your base is one of our distribution centers. From there, you drive your routes to Jumbo stores throughout the Netherlands. You drive modern, well-maintained trucks and become part of a close-knit team of fellow drivers, planners, and logistics staff. The atmosphere? Down-to-earth, professional, and friendly!
Thanks to the tablet in your truck, the store knows exactly when you’ll arrive. This way, there are always people ready to help you with unloading and loading. You drive back and forth between stores and the distribution center two or three times a day. Besides your independent work while driving, there is plenty of contact with colleagues—who are always happy to see you.
