Are you a true go-getter who enjoys working in a dynamic environment? For the Lidl distribution center in Almere, we are looking for a full-time order picker to join the team. You will contribute daily to ensuring that around 70 stores – from Flevoland to Texel – receive their stock on time.
what we offerWe are looking for a true go-getter for Lidl in Almere. You enjoy a structured workday and work accurately, even when the pace picks up. You have a sense of responsibility, are reliable, and believe in working together with your colleagues to get the job done.
Because, of course, you can do your own shopping 7 days a week, we also need people to restock the stores 7 days a week. We will also need you, in consultation, on weekends. Working hours are from 07:30 to 16:30.
As an order picker for Lidl, you will collect orders using a voice system and an EPT (electric pallet truck). You will drive through the warehouse and ensure that everything is neatly prepared and ready on time for transport to the stores. No EPT experience yet? Don't worry, we'll teach you!

What we offerAs a warehouse employee you're ready to make sure that the parcels reach our clients as soon as possible. Next to that:
Your main task will be about sorting packages. You’ll work very precisely and at a steady pace to make sure every parcel ends up at the right address. The sorting machine does the first part of the job by sorting packages by region. You’ll then place the parcels into the correct roll container based on the postal codes. Sounds easy right? But do you see the difference between 6696 and 6966 in a split-second? Perfect, then you are made for this job as a warehouse employee! If you need any help then there’s always a co-worker or team leader nearby. Together you are stronger!
You’ll be working with your colleagues in one of PostNL’s largest sorting centers, located at Popeweg 66 in Venlo. It’s easy to reach by car or bicycle. Public transport is not possible. Every day a group of warehouse employees make sure that the parcels are being processed correctly. There are a lot of different nationalities, so the language will be mainly English. During your break you can enjoy the free tea, coffee or warm chocolate milk with your colleagues!

PostNL Zaltbommel is a transfer and storage location, also known as a cross-dock, not a sorting center. A lot of trucks come to the depot; some arrive to unload roll containers, while others come to load them. You will ensure that containers are correctly placed for each driver, assisting with both loading and unloading. This includes positioning containers so they are ready for the next driver or stored temporarily without obstructing others. Arriving at the large PostNL warehouse in Zaltbommel, you greet your colleagues and grab a quick drink. You put on your work shoes, store your belongings in a locker, and get ready to start your shift!
